2006 Civic Si Coupe gets a new alternator, belt tensioner & idler pulley. This also applies to all k24 USD engines as the alternator is the same as k20 engine.

@michaelw6645 Holding up very well. I drive the car alot. Loving the K24 engine 💪🏻
@@FG2-K24A i had an 05 tsx before my si and i totally understand why people do the swap. so much low end torque, probably feels insane in the lighter/stiffer chassis. although my tsx was retuned and si is stock. i have a hondata but haven’t messed with it yet
@michaelw6645 The stock Hondata flash will wake the car up. I love the extra low-end torque.
So how did the install go? Did the new version clear the firewall. Juat picked up one myself and waiting to throw it on.
@rawdawg804 So it clears firewall but just barely. It would hit and make rattling sound sometimes, so I ended up putting longer bolts and few washers to space lower engine mount 😅 🙃 All good now

because when you accelerate and the revs drop the muffler sounds like it has something loose inside. I have the same setup and that bothers me, I thought it was just my muffler doing it.

Hey bro, I got a 2009 SI, Im tryna replace the whole grill after it cracked (don’t ask how, I don’t wanna to talk about it😂). I found grills on EBay but they don’t have any emblems obviously. Can you make a video on how to attach the “SI” badge in the bottom right corner? That’s the only thing I don’t know how to attach, there’s videos on how to attach the grille and the head badge (like this video) but there’s nothing on how to attach the SI badge. Hopefully you can help, thanks! 🙏

how was the royal purple? dont have redline here.
Only used for a short time. It was fine for daily driving. I switched to Redline for track use.

My steering wheel is all destroyed, like its peeling, should i take it off and putt on the new wrap or just put it over the steering wheel as is?
Depends on how bad it is peeling off. It's hard to say without seeing a photo.

Thank you for making this video. I just changed a starter on my friends CSX (k20z2) and upon a successful first start the alternator pulley was seized and the serpentine belt shredded due to the friction. Now we're changing two more parts I guess! I will be giving this a try soon.

in my opinion Skunk2 Alpha header is high-quality and an effective upgrade for sport compact cars. Its mad good construction, and improved exhaust flow. good upgrade👍🏼

Opted not to use it. This cover fit so tight that I did not need the tape.

Are the cable supposed to snap in place and not move it all or still have a bit of play because I can rotate them almost 360° but if I just leave them how I have them they won’t pop out
They don't snap in. Just rotate them and they will stay put
