2011-2014 hyundai sonata hvac mode not changing or clicking repair. This is relatively easy to fix and should take no more than an hour to fix with the proper tools.
Tools needed: 10mm 3/8" socket, 10 inch 3/8" extension, ratchet, 3/8" swivel, Philips #2 screwdriver, right angle ratcheting screwdriver.

I drive a 2011 sonata and I hear clicking noises from the passenger side dash whenever I switch from outside air to circulate. Do I have to do this on the driver side or passenger side ?
That means your intake/recirculation actuator is going bad.
Thank you so much! I asked me mechanic and he said it's pretty difficult to get behind the dash. With my dad's help, I was going to remove the glove compartment feel my hand for the clicking noise to see if I can easily replace it from there.@@sahasranshupurohit
We have 2 actuators passenger side - one is intake actuator and the other one is temperature control actuator. Lower one is temp control and upper one is intake/recirculation
@@user-kw2pn4ge6s It might be your blower motor if it’s coming from underneath your glovebox. Very simple fix.
Thanks for the video! This helped me diagnose my problem. Would it be impossible to just replace the actuator first without removing all the other parts first if you have the right tools?
No, the other parts are in the way
In case the thing stopping it is behind the agitator.
Why is there a need to take off the agitator to do this in the first place?

My mini bike when I go full throttle and let off slightly fast enough so the straight pipe exhaust ignites the slightly unburned fuel that left the engine and then makes a loud bang/pop that sounds like a gunshot that I'm pretty sure my neighborhood loves 'not really' this is the lawn cutting version of my mini bike!
