How good do you think Feast would be if instead it said "Trash this card. Gain a card that costs up to 5 Coin. You may gain another card that costs up to 2 Coin."?
If there was a good 2 Coin card in the game, I think that could make Feast a pretty startegic card to use early in the game. Not a bad idea!
@@waebrothers4965 Could also use it to get both an Estate and a Duchy later on without using any Buys. Honestly, even as it is, Feast can be good to get on your first Deck cycle if there's a 5-Cost card that's really good to get early like a Witch or a Sentry. The biggest problem with Gainer Cards like Feast, Workshop, Remodel, and Artisan is that their use is heavily dependant on what other cards are in the Supply, they're not powerful on their own.

the factory card that you get a mech for two gold seems crazy unfair....compared to the others....
There's definitely a hierarchy of good cards and bad cards. I recommend this article for a good study of what factory cards you should and shouldn't get: thedailyscythe.com/factory-cards/

What is with the inconsistency in these ratings values? Stick with x/10 or whatever not 3 differing values. I get you throw them all together at the end but it's just kind of random.
Hi, thanks for the input. We score games like this for a weighted system: for a game, we consider Fun to be a much more important consideration than Theme or Production Value, so we give it a larger value to be scored on.
My rankings via tier (no particular order via tier, depends on board for which is better) A tier: Rusviet, Crimea (best economies in the game) B tier: Saxony, Polania (unique playstyles that generally focus less on economy and more on movement, Saxony is probably higher than Polania for experienced players and vice versa for newer players) C tier: Nordic (decent economies but not as good as the A tiers, slower start of game, mech abilities probably the worst out of the original 5) D tier: Albion, Togawa (no speed mech really hurts the IFA characters, Albion's sword and shield are better abilities than Togawa's along with Togawa having to start next to Crimea and Rusviet, where if one/both are in the game, can really destroy any chance of Togawa winning. Thus, would probably rank Albion over Togawa in this tier)
I hadn't thought of grouping factions into tiers like that, that actually seems to line up really well. You make a good point in that it can depend a lot on which player board you get.

Well said, I 100% agree. We made this video without enough experience in Scythe, and have since changed our opinions on a lot of the factions: we definitely need to remake this. 😅
when it just came out i watched reviews and some said it was boring, this why i didnt bought it, now seems like price in increased and i found that actually many people liking it, so i regret not buying it back then

well of course it's dark the tittle named HORROR it's not gonna be about bunny rainbows LOL and about the dificulty i would say that if new players feel this game too hard you can ignore some of the rules until you get good there is no judge in the room this is your game and you can do what ever you want just be creative
That's true, that's one of the advantages of cooperative games. I'm not a huge fan of it, but if you both agree then rules can always be changed.

It will take longer to read this comment than watching the video .... you've been warned 🧐 All you need to do to get it to fit into the box, is: A) Add *all* the Tuscany expansion content, B) sleeve all the 45x68mm cards, C) get rid of all the plastic bags except those for the glass wine tokens (and perhaps specialized workers) D) Split the coins between the 2 large compartments and store the large cards on top of it (eases retrieval of cards) Preferably store on its base ... 😉
See, that's the problem, I store all of my games sideways. 😄 Maybe Game Trayz needs to be included with more games?
