@@Mex.Jordan i see your point but look at it this way there are no rumours or plans for Sky to make a 2nd gen of Sky glass, sky glass now seams to have ironed out all the issues it’s now a great system, I also would worry about it being 4 years old tv tech hasn’t moved on that massively at all and most things added to new tvs these days are just gimmicks to get to you buy whoever’s tv has the best gimmicks now if your worried that things will go 8k I wouldn’t those tvs are a long way off, skyglass is enough for anyone I love mine.

@@Mex.Jordan don’t get me wrong when I 1st got mine I hated all the bugs it had that I had to wait to get sorted out by sky but give them there dues they listen to there customers, if you do get one have a look at my other videos about the remote control issues and how to make sure you don’t have any and the must one to watch how to set up your picture settings as it ships in eco mode it makes so much difference setting the picture up yourself it really is night and day. @@Andy-oq1il Hi Andy, yes I know it has freeview built in and how to get it working it’s there incase your broadband goes down I have always know this and said in my videos. You may have watch an old one of my videos back when they first came out the apps only worked if you had a sub but some people did notice there was a glitch and those people who didn’t have a sub could still use the apps which a few of my subscribers have said some are lucky some aren’t but it might have all changed again sky seam to be a bit strange like that. @@Andy-oq1il if the 2nd had sky glass has been paid off and the original sub that was on it has been paid you will have no issue but I don’t trust many people like that unless you know them

Sorry TPV bought part of Philips that use to make panels and have used Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology. LG panels are Oled and Samsungs Qled. I do see one person on Reddit Saying it’s made by Philips but there no other information anywhere saying this and I wouldn’t believe everything you hear on Reddit

What Hifi : There's also a DVB-T/T2 digital TV tuner for backup if you lose internet connectivity. Sky revealed to Pocket-lint that it makes the TV itself, but TPV (the parent company of TP Vision and the Philips TV brand in Europe) makes the LED panel.

I have said quite a few times in my videos in gaming in sky glass if your a real gamer you wouldn’t be using a tv full stop you would be using a gaming monitor due to higher refresh rates amongst other things at this present time there aren’t many true 120hz tvs and the ones that are out there are sound twice the price of skyglass, now not sure about the content creator but your talking about as a pretty sure most platforms won’t be putting your content out anywhere near the resolution you maybe be recording at or the bitch rates, skyglass is no better or worse than most tvs out there for gaming, if I was you I would try and find a good gaming monitor and go from there I have a nice msi curved 120hz monitor I used for video editing mainly just to make sure things look right before uploading but doesn’t make any difference in quality once uploaded due to RUclips compression. Secondly I'm working with what I have for now and you don't even know me to assume anything, it only serves to make you sound bitter and dumb and salty. As I have been gaming since the launch of the Xbox original and one of the first to play multiplayer online with a gamer tag so many people want to buy from me as it’s a tag from day one of live maybe we should have a game sometime and maybe you could pop in on your channel? Look wasn’t having a go but I hated skyglass when it first came out but they have made it better with updates, I do use it for gaming now when I turn my day one series X on which isn’t much anymore and I find it fine to use or I’ll plug into my projector for a 10 foot image for a laugh then it’s a bit to big to game on lol but yeah I’m up for a game sometime I’m an old school player Halo, project Gotham racing and gears of war were my games years before COD which I must say I really think it’s had its day. ​@ReviewBoxUK yes I suppose it could be a good feature. Was trying to see if I could adjust the fps. Like I like to watch my uhd disc films in 24 fps. But looks like tv is capped at 60 fps. Woild be nice if it did the match frame rate thing. I love the tv tbh but it certainly has some down sides. This said I am glad I got it.

I have lots of cameras and 4 with me 2 4k mirrorless and the one I used was a small sensor rugged Fuji I was testing it’s video quality I also have my insta360 with me and 2 other mirrorless cameras at home

Oh and I have a Sony rx10 with me this is currently the best bridge camera on the market which also supports 4k video

I have 3 Fuji cameras both 4k and the Fuji little rugged camera I did this video on plus 2 Sony 4k mirrorless cameras

@@richardh6089 yes that would work but most smart plugs will not supply enough power or over heat due to the power the tv is going to draw I know this as I have had almost a fire a few times and both plugs were from a very reliable brand yes they say 13 amp but I wouldn’t plug anything in one that was near to 13 amps

@@PeterMarlow-u3o no difference to switching off at a switch or unplugging from the wall

@ReviewBoxUK yes it is because just pulling the lead out with power still going through it and put it back in is more likely to cause a power surge that turning it off at the mains and turning back on after a few minutes, I know this I work with pcb boards, what you do could even cause it to catch fire if the is any damage to any of the broads and a spark inside happens and jumps the broads

@@PeterMarlow-u3o been doing that since launch no issues have done it with many other tvs dvd player games consoles etc and never had any issues you can get spikes at any time while plugged in I would hope over the years manufacturers would have this in mind when designing etc maybe this is write in cheaper end products or cheaply build products like what come from Samsung

@ReviewBoxUK don't tell me how pcb boards work I work fora company that makes electric test equipment , ever heard of megger, I work on making pcb broads for the last 30 years , if you have been doing that you have been lucky that you have not blown the broads or had a fire, it is not ever recommended that you do that you are giving people dangerous advice on this, you switch it off at the mains unplug it leave it for a while than you plug it back in and switch it on

@@ResRules well funny how I have a different router and now get full speed on WiFi trust me there are routers out there capable of delivering full speed over WiFi
