I absolutely love Ambre D’Alexandrie for cold weather and my juice has become so dark😍😍. I have sampled Ghibli and the opening is so glorious but the drydown was way too leathery on me😩😩. I will try it again in cold weather and see if there is a difference🤔🤔. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰

Agree on the cost of the Dior Esprit line. I had an Amex discount which was why I bought it but if you've already have MFK Grand Soir, the Esprit of Ambre Nuit is a bit redundant.

I’m trying to catch up on some videos and this sounds very interesting 👌👌. From your list I’ve only tried Ghibli and Ella K makes beautiful fragrances😍😍. I loved Ghibli’s opening however the drydown was way too much for me, not sure if the high heat had anything to do with it🤔🤔. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰

Encens Divin by Givenchy has been my most favourite amber fragrance. It's stunning but sadly discontinued I believe. Haven't seen it in stores for 3 years now.

Idk why Loewe is very underrated brand. They are unique. You also have to discover Dries Van Noten. For me, Both Loewe and Dries Van Noten have the niche aspect on them despite coming from luxury brand, plus the bottle are beautiful and sleek.

Oh no with your bottle, at least you saved some. That Givenchy does sound nice Yes we defo live in a small fragrance world, I've unknowningly bought of people on Ebay that I know. That Ella K does sound nice. Samsara does sound nice 😍 I don't think I've ever sniffed it. Yes 🤣 sometimes they are worth the money. I really haven't tried enough Cartier but what I've tried has been so good. That one sounds gorgeous The DVN smells soooo good on others but on me it just didn't really work at all sadly. I actually have never smelt Moulin Rouge but thats on my list. The ones I've tried have been gorgeous. This one does sound really good The Rance ones are really good aren't they. It was a pretty one I agree there. It is very classy wasn't quite a love for me but could appreciate it. My most elegant is probably Amouage Gold man. Great video 😊

This is the reason why you should sample fragrance as everyone’s nose is different. For me Queen of silk is so much better than Carmina. I do love carmina but something about the silk that is giving me the umff of fragrance. Very beautiful and alluring and on top of that beast mode! I am particularly very picky when it comes to shilling out coins but my goodness! To my nose this smells like no other. Very well blended perfume. And ofc i gave them my money. If u want to smell like a million dollar get Queen of silk!

I love TF lost cherry, the longevity is perhaps 2+ hours but I don’t mind reapplying throughout the day! It’s a perfect scent for autumn and winter 🤌

Love these showdown videos!! In my eyes Guerlain is a designer house, mostly because they started producing just fragrances, but they currently have a makeup and skin care line, and also because the perfumes are more mass appealing in general . But it’s hard to draw a line and define what’s niche and what’s designer, I believe it is very subjective. Hope you are well Pika! ❤

This topic is very controversial and I mentioned this in my previous video as well, niche is not always better and we need to debunk that myth since most of the people who can't live without niche and trash designer fragrances didn't even know that niche perfumery existed before 2020. People don't know that actually, many designer fragrances have been the blueprint for many hyped niche fragrances. No, not all designer fragrances are great but not all niche fragrances are great either (and I have more niche than designer perfumes in my collection). Looking gorgeous as usual 🖤🤍😘

The misconception came about from the ignorant youtubers who just got into fragrances during lock down. Especially during the era of levelling up. Granted now some have understood the difference. However people just need to get it into their heads that niche does not equate to levelling up.

Pika defo do the character ones. I've done quite a few including Buffy, absolutely a mega fan. I'd say FDB definitely nowdays are more mass appealing. And you're right the newer TFs are generally a let down sadly. Lost Cherry is gorgeous 😍. And Serene is a nice one. Yes Guerlain are complicated 🤣 now they aren't their own house and LVMH I'd probably say designer. Great little battles. Yes i agree with you what type of fragrance they are labeled as doesn't make too much difference. It's just what we prefer.

Thank you for the great tips! In the store, I truly loved both versions of killian love don’t by shy and the extreme version so I decided to buy 5ml decants and when I sprayed the extreme version on my skin again, I truly did not like it. I also got a decant of oriana and I love it a lot but I’m not sure it’s full bottle worthy. Right now I am going to wait for all the autumn release and see what catches my eye, I’m hoping to buy a full bottle of a gourmand scent that can become my signature scent 😊
