Little Boy Christmas - The Forgotten Son of Mr & Mrs Claus
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.День назад
Quick heads up: Little Boy Christmas has a tenuous relationship with his parents, and therefore, this episode isn’t suited for kids. Have you ever wondered about Little Boy Christmas, the forgotten son of Santa and Mrs Claus? Nope, neither had we. That’s probably why he’s forgotten. Looking like an unbelievably shredded Dickensian orphan (you’re going to want to watch the RUclips for this one),...

Просмотров 48314 дней назад
Lewis Hobba grew up idolising Triple J. But despite being chosen as Triple J’s drive-time co-host by the age of 30, and being selected by Andrew Denton as one of Australia’s most creative and talented young performers for the show Hungry Beast, Lewis never felt like he succeeded in anything. In this Vulnerabilitea House, Lewis tells Hugh, Ryan and Josh what it was like behind the scenes for him...

Even when he’s being serious, I can’t tell if he’s serious
as someone working with ADHD this tab has been opened for a week. I tried to watch it again but can't get through the first 10 mins.
Thank you so so so much for posting this - incredible!!!
Party tonight at McDonalds house MUSIC 🎉
It depends what sort of Scottish accent,a Glaswegian accent might sound more threatening.
Love him!
I had a school counselor. She was quite a hugger. I remember explaining her in depth how it makes me feel very uncomfortable. Coming from my autism and all other things. At the end of our conversation, I felt like I had made a HUGE step. She stood up and was kind of like... not being mean but she hugged me. As if saying: lets not take life too seriously girl. I was clearly uncomfortable as she said; u dont like that huh... and then she stroke my face with her hand - all in some kind of lovely way not trying to be like... weirdly close and all that, but I felt like my complete effort had been smashed to the ground
The Joe Rogan bit got me so good.
Love u guy
I was looking for Michael's Podcast, that's how I found you.
What a beautiful human you are Michael. Feeling very inspired by your wisdom.
I have shared this episode with so many of my friends. ❤
It’s nice to know that the are quite a lot of us out there I’m here alone between so call “normal”people living in are box .I have been born 70 years ago outside the box never needed people never been bored with my own company though I managed to get husband 46 years ago still married and to sons which don’t really know they on the edge of box
One of the greatest episodes. I really recommend ppl to watch it. It will build your mentality for becoming a better version of yourself.
What a bloody good episode. Michael you are an absolute star!! you remind me so much of my younger brother, who is my favourite person in the whole world. Thank you for sharing your story with us
Andrew Denton is looking great for his age, taller than I expected.
What did the zen Buddhist say to the hot dog vendor? Make me one with everything.
🤣
Seen a clip from tiktok and something told me to watch it and I’m so happy I did. Had me in tears at work so thank you for that. What a man and what a story - someone needs to make this into a film
I’m wondering if the shame can sometimes be reframed to gratitude for being an external executive function? As in the CEO who has the place to have a team of executive functioners. Or “thank you, my darling” for reminding me I have to get out the door on time. It would be divine if there were no deadlines or that deliverables were completely flexible. Or someone could talk for hours on end without stop. But … life doesn’t work like that. Michael Theo is incredibly grateful to his mother. Who obviously is his executive function. …..
I’m sorry you struggled during lockdown Michael. I am wondering if your love of animals might help you in times of stress in future? A dog. … dog parks during lockdown were a hive of social activity. Just a suggestion. …. Your animal loving empathy is a beautiful thing.
What a great podcast 😍
I find it so wild that we are constantly gaslighted into thinking accomidating autistic peoples needs is soooo hard....and then in this one interview ive cried nearly 3 times because these men are so invested in making sure Fern is comfortable and having a good time... it's just so touching... I relate so deeply to Fern bc ive tried so hard to "not be autistic" and now that im finally starting to accept it and love myself despite the challenges it's just so nice to have my life experience mirror back to me and see that we can thrive and things can get better...
Great episode.
I didn't realise that I had odd behaviours in the office, but when Fern mentioned eating odd in an office, totally...I met another professional in my field (game art) and instead of knowing who I was because of my art, they knew about me because my colleagues had mentioned I eat a lot of potatoes. Cool haha.
That chat was so great. ❤️
Autistic peer review works...
inspirational, and just a really lovely relatable guy. Great 'final' episode for 2024.
This conversation was amazing. My first time watching this channel, so thanks for having Fern on. Her voice is an important one. We need more autistics in general, but also autistic women representation.
Wow. I found this video on a rough day and was NOT expecting 1:30 shocking.
It’s like hearing my own life story. Shockingly similar. Thank you for giving Ms Brady this platform 🙏🏽 Thank you Ms Brady for talking about your life🙏🏽 I feel so heard
Oh please yes. Do an episode on Yoda and The Force. I’d love that!! I also want to pose a thought/question. Being home with young children is a total joy. It does “break” career paths, which is a societal issue. But the privilege and joy of raising children and the peace that can come from that can bring a sense of accomplishment and achievement. Unfortunately no one can be in two places at once and slowing down is totally ok. Breaking a deal is a different matter and one can acknowledge and atone for that proactively if we are the deal breaker and express genuine gratitude, not to say devotion to the person who stepped up into our breach.
About touch, doing it without consent is not ok regardless of what your preferences are. I avoid handshakes and hugs in general and make no apologies for it. I typically just say, "no, thanks."
I’ve just been diagnosed for autism, aged 45. This interview has helped me in so many ways. Thank you guys and thank you Fern.
It can be a terrible meeting. The grief can just be too much at times.
That's so good ❤❤❤
❤
Yes, very, very hard 😢 thank you
Beautiful episode 🩵 And loved the gift. So touching. Such a pleasure to see Hugh’s face and soul light up ☺️
The jungle bashing metaphor at 46:00 was such a good analogy
Turns out all those people who said they had 'slow metabolisms' were exposed as soon as Ozempic stopped them overeating 😅
First off, thank you for another amazing episode. Been a fan of the podcast and finally felt I needed to make a comment: While I really love this episode, I found myself yelling at my screen more than once, "Stop interrupting him with questions!!" I've felt similarly watching other episodes too (like the one with Grace Tame), but this is the first time I've felt so strongly. I don't know whether you guys realize this, but when the interviewees are recalling something traumatic that's happened to them, they're put in a spot where they're reliving that moment, and thus a lot of sensitivity and space is needed as they retell their story. I think most questions can wait until the end of the story as they can really cause someone to lose their train of thought in that vulnerable moment, especially for an interviewee who has an onset of dementia. Having said that, I do love how Josh prefaced his questions and framed them in a way that showed much consideration... I think even Jim noticed it as well, judging by his comment. Anyway, thanks again for the great work and please keep going, as this is one of my favorite podcasts!
Awesome, as usual! How can I listen to Johann's audiobooks? I use Google play books and can't seem to access them in Australia? Johann can you change this please???
And God Bless these Men for Addressing this what powerful Man you all are for Addressing the truth God Bless you❤
It's so sad but truth hurts doesn't it it hurts us women and children
Why don't we be honest men do have a problem with There sexuality otherwise we wouldn't have children being raped , Molested kidnapped, assaulted And women been done the same you wouldn't have that stigma we wouldn't have places to have to go women helping women a sexual assault hotlines child support Is trafficking of children Women and little boys you wouldn't have this If men were in control of their sexuality
