Rented Garden Transformation (AFTER-ish)
Recorded September 2024.
When I uploaded the BEFORE video: ruclips.net/video/W4amFnijnnc/видео.html
I had no idea that this transformation journey would be cut short.
Despite agreeing to a long-term tenancy, the landlord issued us a Section 21 notice.
Therefore I was unable to start some of the changes I had in my mind and a lot of the garden remains unfinished.
I have put so much time, effort and money into the garden over the last 2 years that I felt I still needed to do some kind of after video, it would be unfair not to.
So, this is the after-ish video. Taken almost 2 years to the day after the first video.
This is by no means a complete transformation, but I wanted to capture how it looked ...

This is a video taken in September 2022, when we first moved into the property. I had imagined a 5 year plan in my head: Year 1 (Sept 2022 - Sept 2023) Created the foundations of the design, put in young shrubs/perennials to establish over years 1, 2 and 3. Build pergola. Install a pond. Year 2 (Sept 2023 - Sept 2024) Complete the borders, see how well things have grown, fill in with more peren...

"Howl" read by Allen Ginsberg, 1975

I've had this audio file on my laptop for a number of years and have always wondered when it was recorded. It is the first recording (not reading) of Howl. Thanks to this article for the info: www.openculture.com/2013/06/hear_the_very_first_recording_of_allen_ginsberg_reading_his_epic_poem_howl_1956.html
The very best thing I've noticed about Andy Kaufman and his influence on people today, is the comment section having the exact effect he was always seeking in his life. He has completely hoodwinked the majority of commenters, and to me, that is funny as funny gets. He's still doing it decades later and he's dead!!, and yes, he was truly an artistic comedic genius.
u know its a funny bit when a hack like Jim Carrey can doit and get a laugh.
Ahhm so Andy invented mumble rap decades before it's time 😂
Yup, golden age of lsd…
I preferred Tony to Andy 😊 EDIT. Tony’s not wearing his dark glasses! He should have done. The glasses made him more menacing and unidentifiable.
🖤😎🙏🏳️🌈🏳️🌈⭕✊
Minion language origin story
Why is this not funny and why did they make a movie about this untalented individual
First time I’ve ever seen this guy. HE SUCKS!! NOT FUNNY!!! If you think THIS is funny, then you just don’t GET my outrage. (You don’t get me at all).
As a boomer it’s fascinating watching this from’77. We were in the midst of one of our country’s darkest decades: stagflation, Watergate, Vietnam, cars were lemons, long gas lines, New York was almost bankrupt, 3 Mile Island, the environment was crap, on and on. It’s no wonder we were hungry for comedy. Jesus we even embraced fucking disco.
*Possibly the least funny comic of the last 50 years.*
I just don't get it. I really don't. Mitch Hedburg had a better shtick, no films about him.
I'm getting him... he's excellent! kind of sublime...
wait what was that stuff about furries tho at 3:00
Yeah what did that have to do with earthquake?? And we’re furries a thing in 77??
This is a timeless work of genius.
next level
Thank god they filmed this
almost forgot it was kaufman for a sec haha
Andy: Thank you very much Crowd: ROFL HAHAHAHA

Elon, is that you? 😄
not dadaist... excuse me, absurdist.
I think Andy Kaufman was reincarnated into Pupinia Stewart on youtube.
Would have loved to see this in a less friendly room - prob got so tense.
It just gets better and better 😂😂😂😂. I’ve decided if I ever grow up I want to be a lunatic like that!
It’s so clever. The audience completely plays into his hands. They’re totally rooting for him, and believe in him, but he wrong foots them and un-settles them deliberately and then pretends not to understand what he’s done and just makes it the whole shtick. It’s brilliant because he’s playing on the jeopardy and the discomfort to give us that anxious frisance
It’s what was great of early Letterman
That was a long winded way of sayin he wasn't funny...at all.
Maybe this was funny in person... and maybe pigs can fly... but this was not one of his better moments.
Tell me you're from a former Soviet republic without saying it 😂
Telling my kids this is bobby fingers
Andy Kaufman Mighty Mouse diorama would be sick
The text book definition of overrated. If you enjoy this, just wait till you see paint dry, watching grass grow will absolutely rock your mind
He cannot be less funny.
“How do they clap in Polish?”
You gotta limbo under the bar he set for comedy.. 😒
No politics. No "lifestyle" material. No opinion. No venting frustrations. Literally 70% nonsense. Tony Clifton.... its just all so godamn good
Genius !!!
15:00 the way he just face palms everybody. 😅
How is this funny
The father of Minions
Balls out brilliance. So influential. You can see these ideas all over Jim Carey and Stewart Lee, to name just two.
Literally the Joker
Just as an aside Kaufman demonstrates an unwavering mastery of the rhythms and speed necessary for good crowdwork. While speaking nonsense. It's like watching Picasso paint like Da Vinci in shaving foam with a four inch brush.
And yet, it's still not funny.
Way ahead of his time. And Dax Flame 😂
He looks so much like Adam Schiff. 🤔
This has bored me to death
Why’d you watch it then
you were already dead
the guy defies logic talented in multiple categories comedy....singing...impersonations acting...wrestling...legend!
He had this practiced but was able to appear as though it was improv.
The only person he's entertaining is himself. He's not there for the audience. Routines to entertain himself
Wow, this is probably the most Boring thing ive Ever seen....
He took hostility to a new level of bizarre.
he's kinda nuts at the bongos
