I was once told by a knowledgeable AC man that the 170 was so underpowered that it required rushing into production the 175 with the Perkins diesel which was the same engine the MF 175/180 had in them.

That is why we carried chain saws with us clearing land! Also why I advise anyone to put a cab on their equipment! Also recommend side brush screens on them as well. If you can also put a blade mounted guard to protect your radiator! God bless you and be careful with the kids around while you work !

Not that it matters now, but the float needle is stuck or a piece of dirt is blocking it. Dad plugged a jet? NO Nobody can plug a jet, dirty fuel or a rusty tank can🤦‍♂️ And what you're adjusting on the bottom wouldn't help you at all

Interesting fact, that log chain we were using I found buried in the dirt about 15 mins before. The last guy to use it was probably doing the same thing we were.

Nice job on the maintenance routine! I can see that our tractor isn't the only one to have the sheet metal cut back to be able to exchange the battery. In the heat of the moment, you do what has to be done. Looking forward to some footage where it is operating.
