Don’t buy anything from Darlac. I’ve tried a few of their kit because it’s a bit cheaper but I’m afraid it’s not very robust and the quality is just not there. Pay a little more and forget this weak manufacturer. You won’t regret it. A waste of hard earned cash. It’s not pro and barely DIY standard. The pruning saw is dangerous due to the folding mechanism that actually folds the opposite way very easily when in use. Poor.

Are these only available in the UK? I like watching yard makeover videos and I've seen youtube guys like "Flawless Cleaning Services" use these. This tool looks cool and very efficient. Are these available in Canada?

Use the full length of the saw, or you get dull in one area plus it is easier to cut!

I personally us the bypass style as an arborist. My grandmother still love the Anvil style though because she just swaps out the blade when it goes bad

If I had to use one pruner, I would use the anvil pruner.

I’d have both in my honest opinion. Bypass for nice new growth and anything dead/hard I’d use the anvils. If your really struggling you know it’s time for loppers!
