You can control speed of descent with the stealth key. It tries to stops you from falling.

Black wolf teeth are used to make weapons (there is an operation to give you the ability). The weapons give a bleed debuff that increases with movement. They are not so great though, I think.

The stringy, gamey, white meat etc all give prime meat buffs. Meat is meat so stacks alongside the prime meats. If you dry the prime meats you will get different buffs depending on which meat it is. If you read what each dried meat/prime meat buffs do, you can then eat to enhance you. Camp fires and drying racks are cheap and easy to craft. No benches needed.

You must use the Orbital Exchange Interface (crafted at Tier 2 on the Crafting Bench) to ship your exotics back into space.

The sack the cave worms drop contain any arrows that haven't broken. The scales and poison sacks are not worth collecting yet (there is a Tier 4 operation that gives you some new recipes that use them)

The flare arrows are useful to have a couple on you at all times. Great for lighting up caves. Great for giving you light if your torch dies (seen it happen at night, under water in a cave!). Handy if you need to light up and area. If you retrieve your arrow before it goes out, you can use it again.

How about 1 of you run to the other drop pod to find out what you need. You can collect and store it in your drop pod at your first location. Just remember to remove it before you complete the first part or it will take off with everything else. OK - seems like you've done this before so you know what you need.

Don't forget to eat your bacon - it give an xp boost.

If you are going to have an open camp fire in the middle of the floor, I suggest you fence it in with fences or half walls. I've seen too many walk through the fire and light up the cabin, losing so much.
