The panniers can hold a volume of about 7 inches wide and 17 inches deep. The reason I am mentioning this is because all the reviews I looked at listed the volume in liters which is no help when searching for camping gear that will fit in it. #crf300l #motocamping #motorcycle

Going for a November ride with a new helmet cam! #goprohero9 #goprohero11mini #motovlog
If I had a motorcycle I would want to get to know it…..but I don’t have one
Knowledge is key!
Just installed on the bike! Perfect!
hummm. Whats up with your idle at 1800- 2000 rpm?????
It settles to about 1500 after it's warmed up.
Did same thing , throttle sticks when bars are turned to the rite ,make it way better tho
I installed the same, but again I can't see the upper display, now I took the M6 22mm, I guess it will be a little better, only the cable fishes in the blinker.
I agree

He sounds just like one of them crazy exercise nuts don’t tell people what to do. Just mind your own goddamn business shut up.
A bit late to the party here & own a 2017 CFR250L. Funny it had the same issue but I found after riding it for some time.... break in.... magically all of a sudden the brake line no longer obscured my view of the instrument panel... No fix required, just put some miles on it, preferably on terrain that works the front suspension.... ;)
Great to see that. Thanks
I have both and I live in Florida, I can't tell the difference. The vents cool the inside to the same temperature and the wind keeps the exterior the same temperature.
Wind chill is a made up term for your FEELINGS. Good grief temps do not work like you describe.
Be a real man and don't wear one!
Thank you for being an organ donor, but no one will want your brain.
I Don't even ride a vehicle where a helmet is required!!! why am I watching this! Thanks tho, v informative! Shiny side up people!
I was hoping you would wait until it got to 134F, medium rare...
The temperature of the head inside of the helmet is going to be the temp of your head. That's at least 98.6°F on average. With sweating and vents open, are you really going to be that much warmer if you're moving? I'm asking because all of the helmets I've owned were and are black. White or bright helmets, improve your visibility to others on the road , but that's the biggest benefit that I see. 6th
My first helmet was a bright black one, it got so hot I could barely touch it with my gloves on. Over time the bright black became a flat black.
When I bought my first Triumph triple, from my friend, he suggested against a black helmet He said get grey, get Shoei. I did the first and graduated to an RF-1200, in a silver-grey, forgot exactly color name, Looks great & not hot.
After about an hour of "riding"/cooking, do both helmets level out despite the white staying cooler longer? Pretty good test, but there's a few more variables I'd like to see accounted for! Thanks Noob!
see you at the top!
Yes, they are the same when you are actually moving
If you wear your helmet while sitting in your back yard, sure. Add in a little wind circulation while actually riding, and the difference will probably not be measurable, right?
My guess is that it would depend on the air temperature outside. For example, the human body will experience little or no cooling effect if the air-flow temp is equal to or exceeds normal body temperature. Humidity is also a factor.
@@themotonoobusa9710 you're forgetting one kind of important thing though, we sweat. thats how people can exist outside in 120+ degree weather. our sweat evaporating does a lot to cool us down when its much hotter. now if the humidity gets to 80% or higher then our sweat doesnt evaporate as much and you will be much hotter, and uncomfortable.
@@themotonoobusa9710 I think he means that cooling effect of a constant air flow at a constant temperature at like 60mph would equalize the surface temperature to very close to the ambient temp.
Two different helmets. Not a relevant test; conclusion misleading. Must be identical helmets.
Okay. But what did you think about the music? pretty cool yes?
@@themotonoobusa9710 No, Nor the voice. Change both of them, and obvs a comparable test would be better. all love. subbed
I can see a dark helmet being hotter inside. This is why I have a lighter coloured helmet. On hot days, I ride with the visor flipped up an inch to allow for some airflow. It is supposed to hit 39C here today. No worries. Not going to ride the bike today. We gonna take the boat out. Beauty of living 300 feet from Shuswap lake.
I do the same thing with my visor!
39C in Canada? Wow, did not know it got that hot there! Hope you enjoyed the lake.
@df3yt Canada does have one desert. Osoyoos and it is on the border with 🇺🇸 we are about 120 miles north of there. Takes us 15 minutes to get to Adam's river. Largest sockeye salmon run in the 🌎
Im pretty sure there is commentary under there, but the music completely obliterated it. I'll be interested to hear how you like the bivvy style tent - especially in wet westher.
Unfortunately I lost mush of the footage of set-up and testing. I only had drone footage. How ever I am 5'9" and I fit quite comfortably inside and best of all it fits nicely in the panniers. As far as wet weather I haven't tested for that but I watched reviews that had mixed results. Thanks for commenting!
The limit is in mph and the speedometer is in kmph
The speedo is on mph. I am starting to think that the bike is setup to be more accurate on kmph!? Time to do some research!
@@themotonoobusa9710 sooo has your adhd find anything yet?
Tire size or some companies show 3-5 km/mile fast.
Yea, and this bike has the factory tires on it...
@@themotonoobusa9710 I had crf 250 L before (2014 KM/h) there was not this problem. Maybe gears and chain or kmh/mph :)))
It has been a while since I’ve seen one of your videos. Looks fun!👍
I haven't been doing the youtube thing much lately. Been busy with family stuff.
Bro the manual says 22 lb
The tire says 33lb...bro
@@themotonoobusa9710 Respectfully that's the max pressure for the tire dude not recommended pressure . The manual for the 300L says 22lb front and rear.
@@JamesPiccone I stand corrected!
Don’t you want some play? If it’s too tight, would turning your handlebars pull on the throttle a little??
Next upgrade a belt
😂 I actually have one but neglected to put it on!
If I may add another solution: Where the brake line enters the reservoir on the right side of the handler there is an elbow that the brake line fastens to. All you have to do is loosen the banjo bolt that holds the elbow to the reservoir. You only need to slightly loosen it. Twist downward on the elbow. This makes the hose move forward, clearing the view of the instrument cluster. Re-tighten the bolt and you are done. Takes less than a minute. I rode my CRF250L with this same solution for over 14000 miles and it never caused the hose to kink or any other problems. Not as elegant a solution as yours, but it does work.
I dropped my bike and the cable got bent/shifted somehow, but it's out of the way. So we both found a solution.
I'm gonna try to run copper Nicole brake line and bend with with the handle bars nice bike but ugly brake line design
Meh...I bought and installed the hardware, and it made a little bit of difference, nothing like in this video though. No matter how much I tighten it I can still move the plastic "ring" up and down. I have 2023 and my brake line seems much shorter.
And you Placed the washer between the stand-off bolt and the plastic ring?
@@themotonoobusa9710 yes, I watched the video as I did it. Mine also touched turn signal bracket so I put some electrical tape in a couple places and will keep an eye on it
You lived another day my friend.
I did, although I was never in any real danger because I keep my head up. I was just surprised that she saw me.
Thank you Sir!
You're welcome!
How come it cant just be zip tied out of the way. Just a tick? I was going to but i wasnt sure it that was a good idea
Good question! Because the brake line needs to move freely as the front suspension moves (especially with the ABS model)
@themotonoobusa9710 thank you! That's the one I have to, glad I didn't do that now
Conquered*
Fixed! LOL
Brilliant
Dude is this on the back side of big bear mountain? I forgot exactly what it’s called but I swear I’ve ridden at this same place
No, this is in Oregon. I do see the resemblance though.
@@themotonoobusa9710 damn yeah it looks exactly like parts of Californias hills. Stay safe have fun g
Thanks! @@Ashleyswanson45

Yep!
I only need two stokes ma’am 😮😊😅
Is that in Lake Tahoe?
No, It's central Oregon in the Cascades.
The rider in front wearing the blue backpack is riding a 4-stroke bike. The guy wearing the camera is riding a 2-stroke bike.
👍🏁

It was all the easy way
Where is this place
Oregon Cascades
I used a spacer and a longer bolt.
Cool 👍
Omg how dare you poor plants are being killed because you wanna ride your gas powered…..actually I don’t care.
If you ride you know how difficult it is to feel bad😆
It seems like the mower is louder cause it’s idling way too high, seems to me
Lawn mower doesn't have idle, it has a preset running speed (no throttle). I also revved-up the moto and it you could still barely hear it.
