Hi great video. What type of cleaning tool did you use? Looks like a mini vac? TY

Great video. Thank you. What type of vacuum did you use to clean it? Is it a mini vac of some kind of mini attachments?

Nice fix, those type of bearings are easy to fix as well. There’s a casing that is on both sides of the bearing that pops off exposing the inside where you can clean the balls (no pun intended) and add grease. The side casing just pops back on / as good as new.

Great, helpful video, TY. I have the same problem. I was taking apart the sander, & I can't get the white, round, plastic piece that houses the bearing loose, & off to remove the bearing. It just won't budge, so I've hit a brick wall, sadly.

I can not get the orange housing separated. I removed 3 top screws, took off velcro sander pad to expose fan blade, removed 5 screws on the side of the orange housing. It will not release at the on/off switch & cord insert into the housing area.

Same problem -- until I noticed in this video (0:47) that there is a hidden screw behind the black sticker with the manufacturer details

Had same problem with my black decker sander i only cleaned it inside with compresor and put some precission oil inside bearings.. Works great now.. Simple fix.. I done the same thing in my firm a year ago.. Guess sanders need regular maintanence to work properly.. Even 300 dollar sanders got this problem..

When this happen only need to do this: 1 use gasoline, sumerge and wash the bearing for 5 minutes after that apply grease for bearings and your done. Thumbs up if a save you 6$ and it work for you.

Nice! Mine does the same thing, but it also started spinning way too fast until I put pressure... I wonder if there may be some type of brake mechanism? Thanks for the info
