RCRUN 80 Series Realistic Chassis with LC80 Hard Body 1/10 Cralwer RC First Run
Building this rig was a great experience due to how realistic the chassis components were. Even without oil shocks and equipped with just modest rubbers, it ran like a champ and performed flawlessly. I intentionally picked a color that would make the car look understated and basic. No metal bumper or larger wheels planned for this thing. In the real world, it would be that unsung hero you bought from the back of a used car lot lol.

Modding the FMS FJ45 RC Truck - When performance is less relevant for the fun
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.8 месяцев назад
Brought more modifications to my FMS 1/12 (1/14 in fact) FJ45. It's a platform with more fun in many ways compared to the mainstream brands. - Designed my own front bumper. Printed and painted in the garage using an Anycubic resin printer. I built the light bucket but haven't installed LEDs yet due to still running stock 380mAh battery. - Lowered using alternative mounting points on the body. T...

Yes the first thing I did was downside the wheels from factory to give it a more reasonable daily look. This one is fit with the light kit, as well as the full metal trim kit.

Nostalgia meets craftsmanship. I was debating between the BBX and this, and I am glad with my decision. Have some future plans for it, and looking to get a trailer setup for my crawlers so I can carry this wonderful buggy around.

Sky high lift, oversized tires and scratched up bodies were never my type of things when it comes to RC trailing/crawling. With the leaf springs, limited suspension travel and small power, I still had a ton of FUN.

Do you have mounting tutorial?
Man that rig is so nice! Ive been on the fence of getting one of these.
For the wheels and rims, are you using adapter? Can you show how to install?
Awesome landscape ❤️🔥😁 Great footage 💪
How you install another wheels?
Aku sangat suka bangat sama rc cars nya❤❤
I take mine out only a couple times a year, but I always have such a huge grin the entire time because of how artistic the lil unit is when gliding over sand and carving up corners. Really want to convert to brushless eventually
@@IntroRC The factory slipper pads didn't last long with the full power of my motor setup. I recently switched to heavy duty clutch and tuned the throttle power down to 50% percent. I agree with you that it's not the one to beat on and it's more of a therapeutic beauty to play with. I started looking into their new SB buggies and they seem to be very ready for bashing and actions.
are they metal rims?
@@IKNFLY666 yes from Amazon.
@@driftin90srccan you share the size of the wheels? And hex?
This was fantastic, great work!
what did you do for body connections?
Hi. I used the Killerbody mounting bracket in the front that was intended for the SCX10 ii and did some modification to the chassis so the front mount became a pivot mount. Then I put a platform in between the strut towers with 2 pairs of magnets in the rear. Worked pretty well. My only issue with using a SCX10 III is that you will have to cut the bed to make room for the strut tower or favricaye your own cantilever suspension otherwise the body will set very high from the chassis frame. This truck recently fell from an indoor challenge course and never got fixed since then. :(
@@driftin90src i also had to cut the body but instead of the mounts I used the pins that came with the chassis and flipped them and glued them to the body which works well. I'm always curious how people do it with their scx10 3 as its quite rare and tricky. and I'm sorry for you car, hopefully you can get it running again
Sweet 😊 I really like the edit here! Looking to build my next Orlandoo as well, this helps the hype 😉
Thank you! The assmebly was much easier than me editing out the video on my phone. I apprecaite that you liked the edit. I hihgly recommand the metal suspension link plate, the red plate shown at 2:10. You will most likely save a lot of hassle and avoid stripping since the stock plastic one is very hard to work with IMO.
Nice! Just got my chassis finished. Now time for the body.
Love this.. awesome video my friend !
where can we get one of this???????
It's called RUN80 chassis. The hard body isn't hard to find. For the chassis you are looking at $400 give or take. The hard body and chassis are meant to go together.
Looks outstanding. Love the choice of wheels and tires. Nicely done!
Size velg & tire?
❤❤❤❤thanks for sharing, from Alberta Canada
Nice car, I like it 👍
👍
Awesome 👍 nice car though!
Awesome video, Friend👍 I like it and the car itself
That was very cool, like the Japanese song too. These buggies look sensational when done, and go together so well.
A couple of licence plates would really give it that real look, and the dirt grabbers I believe are the perfect choice. Nice job
Man you make amazing videos super glad a stumbled upon your channel!!!
Thank you! More to come!
Sweeet!!! That is super cool!Big sun and like! Awsome video just great production quality juat the crawling part was Awsome! Yes performance isn’t always most important. I am going to get into scale more…have a lcg and WRRCA addiction though currently!!! 👍👍👍🙏✌️🍻🖖🤘
Thank you!
Put up for sale and also make one for 1/12 land drover series 2 I will order from you
that looks awesome 🤩
Looks fantastic! Will you put leds in the front buckets?
Yes sir. Still running the 380mah. I need to relocated the battery compartment and use a bigger battery before I put LEDs in there! I designed the bumper with wire management and holes already.
ZOMBIE CAR
Ahah ! X01 is so thigh that this is a big challenge to fit all the electronics inside 😁 like the build and color you did and the way you film is also cool.
You are so damn right. It's a pain to get those stuff out when I needed to. I later removed the speaker, and bought the smaller battery (120mah I believe?) to hopefully make electronics management easier. Thanks for watching!
Very nice build and good job for the printed parts. 👌🏻 final look is just beautiful.
Nice build. Great job on the bumper!
Thank you!
Awesome micro crawler!
Cooles Gerät der Landi von RC4WD und dein Umbau macht nen topp eindruck, ....Daumen hoch von mir👋👍👌💯💢
Is there any chance I could get a few sets of adapters?
Send me your eBay link for adapter I need it
Encuentro que los ejes de transmision son muy debiles para soportar la fuerza de un motor tan potente por lo demas es una joya de los años 90S el estilo de estos autos que son los abuelos del coche a radio control de la actualidad
man that s a beautiful configuration
Hey love the truck! Do you have the wheel hex files available anywhere?
Are you still selling the printed hex? I would like to buy
That's some good speed. What kind of powerplant are you using?
Nice ! Just ordered mine today after some hesitation with the tamiya BBX aswell. Can't wait to start the build ! Any advices to share with a beginner ?
I don't really have much suggestions because I am a beginner myself. I assume you gave it built by now? How is it? And I think the BBX is superior thanks to the modern plastic chassis which handles crashes better than the metal does. I bent my Kyosho frame not long after this video and currently on my 2nd set of the frame lol.
@@driftin90src Tx for you answer. Yeah i'm done with the build, wasnt too hard even for a beginner like me. I thought metal would be superior to plastic actually... But I guess you're right, plastic comes with more elasticity. Just hope I dont have to replace the frame aswell
Amaging spot.... Subhanalloh
Did you have do anything custom to get the body to mount on the SCX10 III?
its a lot of work you have to cut a hole in the body to get it mounted
Amazing video with beautiful scenery. Great job, my friend.
👍👍
