This is an absolute classic. Both this amv and Toonami got me interested in Rammstein and anime.

Today is the 22nd anniversary of this legendary AMV.
I remember the German version of this AMV. The German language version of "Engel" hits harder than the English-language version. But the music when Asuka destroys the MP Evas is still as great as it was all those years ago.
Yup, I prefer the meaning in the German lyrics (not that I speak German). I especially like the imagery of the angels clinging desperately to the stars.
