This story always gives me goosebumps. Great to see it being introduced to a new audience through this series

I enjoyed listening to this story. I was frustrated, but that was the point. It's stressful to be investigated for a crime, and it is frustrating when investigators insist on circumstantial evidence being definitive. The story did a good job of creating an tense and suspicious atmosphere like would have existed in the middle of the cold war and HUAC.

I’m halfway through and it’s driving me to screaming point. The woman committed suicide, she rang him and he answered so what the heck are the police accusing him of?

I don't understand why the first three people were picked. For what?

I read this growing up and saw the movie version in high school, which really hit an all-time high of unhinged 😮

Did not like this at all. It ended weird. Wasted time listening!

Yes !!! I loved this story; I watched it Hitchcock's series. I always imagined she cooked dinner, did everything that she did not to hide her crime but because she was in a state of shock.

This is the story that hooked me into creepy pastas. And the one about the girl driving through an insane landscape/town...so long ago I can't remember anything but the feeling it gave me. I kive alone and do t see or talk o anyone face to face for two weeks sometimes. I prefer it this way. I began leaving other people alone as soon as I stopped having o go to work... Isolation is nothing new to me. In my 20s i lived in the desert and my nearest neighbor was 12 miles away. I had no phone, tv or radio, except CB and i went to tiwn ibce a month. Worked hard every day, skeot the best i ever have abd had i enoug money id go back there as there are fewer people living there now than there were in the 70s. Think of 9000 sq miles with a pop of 2500. One of the least populated places there is and no one knows about it. Lol I'm not telling where it is, either. 😊

This could have been a good story But made zero sense Phone calls can be traced and if the killer was calling James than the police would trace that call Also why was the cop only after him and not checking into anyone else and how could he kill her if he was on the phone picking up the call (??) again this could be traced -I m getting the feeling the writer did not know where to go with this story and was creating drama without substance I also write for a living and I agree its hard to keep suspense when creating a story but at the same time the story must make sense (even if it is a fantasy) Dots do have to connect or the reader is left with a feeling of irritation!!
