    Also there is a team making E3 definitive mod which restores most of e3 2019 content and make it look like one so I'm gonna be using it when it comes out.

    Although game has gotten alot better, It just sad that Techland did cut 200 page of cut content, best way to make DL2 better is to stick with actually grounded and realism and take alot of inspiration from E3. However Techland decided to add some weird content like elemental burning goons and weird story which doesn't quite match with DL1. Here's my suggestions to make DL2 better. -E3 2018 outfit and option to remove pilgrim bracelet -Better blood which should be working dynamically like come on Dead island 2 has it even Dying light 1 has it -add dynamic skybox(E3 Skybox with dynamic clouds and sun), add more weather, improve shadow (E3 Shadow was better) -They should make climbing more satisfying like E3 has it and add radial blur for parkour since it looks much better (2018-2019 and 2021 trailers had this and it made parkour absolutely better) and also bring back 1.00 Monkey bar jump and 1.00 Dropkick and remove float from it, Fix paraglider's hand clipping and give it e3 holding -Make dismemberment more satisfying like remove that "shnggg" sound when cutting enemies and remove that whoosh sound when hitting people with blunt weapon, Viral should stay alive and keep chasing you even after dismembering their arms or their legs, Improve physics and impact so it can actually feel like I'm hitting something and not a piece of paper -Bring back flashlight inertia and flashlight shadow and better flashlight texture -Make parkour objects like ziplines, Ropes, Etc blend in with environment because they stick out like sore thumb -Make AI smarter and better, Humans should do smart things and zombies should be dumb and Volatiles should be reduced but have same terrifying AI as Alien isolation Alien -Add more enemy variants like PK dogs, Crossbow PKs, PKs that holds a shield and rarely a pk/renegade with a scorpio - Instead of adding elemental zombies like burning goons or freezing zombie they should more realistic zombie types like Biters who just turned recently and carrying a weapon, A dismembered zombie, A zombie that a sharp weapon got stuck in them -Reducing stunlock enemies it's just not satisfying but rather annoying

    Yes people shouldn't use the gliders if they think its so easy but u also say there are two many zones, then simply don't run to zone either, travel across the map to another on if u want, throwing a UV bar is too effective? When they take a good amount of resources to make and u can get swarmed by so many volatiles and virals at once its great they are that effective. The stealth icon isnt a big deal, once u played on hard or nightmare in the first game that was removed too, all its there for is to make the game easier for noobs and it's not like ur insta spotted all the time, they have a recognition time as well unless u go right into the face of one which makes sense and neither would i say its impossible to sneak around them, yeah there is a lot of volatiles roaming but not impossible.

    I copy/paste my respond to a comment: "A shotgun can 2 shot or 1 shot a Volatile. The probleme tho, Volatiles dodge perfectly shotgun shell for some reason (If you keep shooting it without letting do his things, he will keep is I-Frame (I-Frame mean Invincibility Frame)) so to kill volatile efficiently whith a shotgun, you need to shoot him while is in the attack animation, screaming animation or after dodging his attack for 3 seconds window. Stil more efficient an Assaut rife tho, Volatile dont dodge the other type of weapons. They do when they burning by a UV light."

    Volatiles definitely need a Visual Revamp as well as varied move sets for sure. However what they fundamentally need is an improved AI and spawning. Don't make volatiles spawn around you at all times, actually make them roam around, and let chases be more reactive such as volatile jumping out of windows or crevices that that viras come from, let them set traps by using the environment or gathering virals and walkers to block your way.

    Gonna be real this game ain't it for me. Cutscene to do literally anything, a story that is so poorly paced and written I had to force myself to finish it, and gameplay that makes the first look like the sequal. Just my opinion though hope you all enjoy it either way

    In my opinion they should implement these changes in a new DLC. Make a new zone/map where there are less safezones, better and more logical volatile spawn locations and no glider

    I've been waiting for this. The Tolga and Fatin mission was interesting. I'd love a Dying Light world where you could travel between surviving colonies, doing bounties, maybe even build your own shelter (yes, similar to Fallout). This series and Days Gone were my favorites and even my wife enjoyed watching me play the 3 of them and liked the story. Unfortunately, looks like Days Gone 2 may not happen. Another idea I thought would be cool is a bit of a prequel to Dying Light 2 where you're surviving the initial collapse of the world. Anyways, loved the information and look forward to whatever comes next.

    I really wanted to like DL2, but it feels like too little, too late at this point. Especially how they advertised a fluid, changing story that would materially effect the world, never mentioned it again, and then released this pile of shit lol. Missing basic, core features from the first game and falsely advertising, while taking an additional 3+ years to give us "content" that shoulda been included day one lol. So tired of this redemption arc shit from studios. it's an actual strategy they're utilizing at this point

    Dominik didnt spawn for me and the quest now is not show on the missions area neither the map. It happened after I got the the central lop, so what happened to my quest ?

    What iff devs add flying zombies that follow you in the air 🤔😳😳.. at night more aggresive type of flying zombie come out just like volatile 😳.     only thing is that a lot of the early game can be stupidly difficult if you get unlucky. I remember I had a revenant that I kept trying to fight, but every time a volatile would spawn and try to kill me, without them even seeing me first.

    1 way to make them better. The design... its kind of grown on my but if they wanted to do the armored look why not take reference from the Night Hunter or the Alpha Volatiles in The Following. They just look like weird feral golems atm. Also the red spit was cool.

    Its honestly a pain to navigate at night cause every time no matter how u traverse the city they will always start a chase, there is to many of them everywhere. So buffing them would literally make it impossible to go outside during the night. Its really apparent cause when u start a lvl 1 chase you already have 5 volatiles on ur tail, in dl1 you had like 2 and a lot of virals but in dl2 its like 1 viral for 7 volatiles. Personally i think they're too op, like for me they barely react to the uv bars and flashlight and even with op weapons and a resistance booster they do too much damage, i know its the point but it should be that high when we're max level. I had so much times when i was farming legeng points and like 2 volatiles randomly popped behind me and killed me instantly cause they attacked at the same time making me loose like 50 000 legend points

      They made volatiles frequent so they nerfed them. Instead of buffing them, volatile tyrants should also be joining the chase at lvl3 for example

    “Players left a lot happier for it “ Me personally imma say skill issue cause for one why does it seem like your afraid to go out at night eventually you need to suck it up and step outside I’m level 73 and i don’t have any issue stepping out to a couple of Volatiles I just make sure I’m prepared and ready 😂 and the Rest spots and chases literally go hand in hand if there wasn’t any rest spots available in a Lvl4 chase that’s been going on for some time I’m pretty positive you’d want to stop it right

    a weather system to change the paraglider could be an addition hear me out: Have weather be dynamic allowing certain wind speeds throughout the day, allow rain and high winds to lose stamina easier or derail their direction while gliding. Or even add thunderstorms that render the paraglider useless yet adds some sort of special thunderstorm lightning infected boss to provoke exploration in the shit conditions tldr weather make glider bad

      the paraglider is literally the pinnacle of "escape now and forget about it" lmao. if they add weather that would be awesome, like windy storms instead of just rain and pure windy days so that you can't use the paraglider as effectively and it forces you to land.

      Physics are amazing at the moment, it's moreso the fact that so few attacks and actions actually active the physics instead of an animation. And what's wrong with the animations and SFXs? The majority of them are great when it doesn't bug.

      @@kiopsm8825 Animation : got broken once again like running animation which was superior in 1.00 or GLGN update and climbing animation is still broken like when going right or left during climbing which causes Aiden's arms to clip each other or Aiden's hand all of a sudden teleports to roof before Aiden even reaches there that's why E3 climbing is better for me, Also it still lacks of details from E3 like Aiden actually prepares to hold the ledge and he actually had details during grappling hook like his legs jumps and then his hands shows up, and paraglider animation is far superior in E3 like it actually shows Aiden's not slightly clipping. SFX : Well I want them to fix dismemberment sfx mostly because It's awful when you keep hearing that snhggg metal sound when you dismember a zombie it sounds too goofy. Physics : Physics are better than release but it still is inferior to DL1 one like Virals breaking law of physics during their leaps, or zombies falling animation.

    My only real issue is that yeah. The amount of safe zones. Maybe limit some of them at night time? Tricky problem to deal with but the chases would be more fun if you had to run a bit longer to get to somewhere safe. Risk losing your night bonus.

      I always thought it would be cool if nightrunner hideouts would only last a few days until you had to restart the generator or re-put full in them or something. Would add more of an anticipation to night runs if you didnt know if your nearest safe zone was powered or not.

      It would indeed be very interesting if there were a mechanic where some safe zones are invaded at night. It would make the game more challenging and add the apocalyptic touch that the game needs. There could also be randomization regarding their location. In my honest opinion, I believe they should do a complete revamp of the decision-making system regarding group alignment and safe zones. The impact of choosing a group is basically zero? Imagine if, upon choosing a group, the other group suffers significant losses in purchasing and selling power. Fewer UV lights, fewer safe zones around the central base, more infected on the streets, and possible volatile invasions in safe zones, adding a "minigame" similar to the village raids in Minecraft.

    i played both game this month and i gotta say the night in dl2 is more deadly the first night was ez compared to the first one but the volatiles placement making hard to enjoy thats why safe zones are needed i remember in the first game i enjoyed it night and its challenge but this idk

    Just played the game again, and honestly, I prefered the old way of how it was on release. You spend like 70% of the game during night time because every god damn open world activity is "NIGHT TIME ONLY" there are no "Day time only" quests or things. And the fact volotiles just spawn on you, see you, camp the fuck out of you if you try to run to a safe spot, and spawn just 6 other ones if you try to fight them... it just sucks. The game wasn't made with casually roaming volotiles in mind. In DL1 you rarely HAD to go out at night, and there wasn't much incentive to, but when you had to it was something to remember. Before it was too easy and casual, now it's just dumb and frustrating. Imagine having to play 70% of DL1 during the night time and you'll understand. And it's even worse because yeah DL1 volotiles could more easily be avoided.

      Same I hate that volatiles (one of the most powerful enemies) call for backup... roaming is fine but seriously them immediately calling the whole gang on you without even getting close to death or being a tyrant which could call for backup. Them always being an alarm system is more annoying than ever mainly because even at point blank boxing range they football tackle me like it's the superbowl and I have the ball at ten yards from the goal...

    The story is completely f...ed after going back to a new game plus game. The jumping of virals is still broken, the day and night cycle is bad a.f., weapons (guns) leveling Takes 3 weeks for 10 levels..

    For the hazmat you can get a melee weapon or bow,crossbow (I recommend blunt weapons) so look at his feet and hit him its easy but for ranged weapons its easier

    I think the simplest solution is to just make their moveset for the einvoirment more varied. Imagine volatiles climbing monkey bars and, if you fly on the paraglider, they could jump really high to pull you down by the legs, giving you a qte to kick them off. Just those 2 things could make them look like an actual part of the game, not an afterthought

      That should be for Banshees because they jump extreme heights. Higher than volatiles.

      @@requisthebigbrolicblackdud7352 Yeah, except they're really rare during the chases plus their strategy is to hide far away from you, then jump. So I would never see them catching me when using the paraglider because I'd be far away before they can pull that off.

    Their design is pretty shit aswell, they have the borderlands look the biters used to have. They just have to make them not look like a rock anymore, give em some horns or some shit.

      DL1 Volatiles are still superior in design, the bloody marks on them, the moving and opening ribcages, their dangling tongues and those fuckin glowing eyes as they stare into your soul before eating you. That game clearly stated to you: "you may feel badass during the day, but these fuckers rule the night". In DL2 they just seem like some powerful assholes who screech at you all the night but can't even outrun you.
