My name is Tomas and I am a long time aviation enthusiast. I've been simming on and off for several years. In September 2021 I decided to go for Vatsim pilot ratings. As of now, I'm a holder of P3 pilot rating and P5 examiner rating on Vatsim. In July 2023 I started the real flight training and got the PPL(A) in December 2023.
Almost all flights presented in this channel are flown on Vatsim and in all aspects of my flights, I try to be as true to life as possible (most of the time, anyway).

The flight (flown on Tuesday, October 15th 2024) took us from Desert Wings Sky Ranch (04CL) to Brown Field Municipal (KSDM). We departed in VMC, but the runway was rather short and some of us struggled. We entered IMC just as we were turning onto the final approach course of the VOR approach. We had ATC for the arrival portion of the flight. As (almost) always, the flight was hand-flown.

My wife finally went for a ride with me and even though being scared a lot, she took a nice video of this long landing. The wind was around 15 kts, so it took forever to get to the end of this 3.5 km long runway.
