Vic Fuentes Brought Us to Tears | Pierce The Veil - Collide With the Sky Deep Dive
Sir Christopher Conley.
David Bendeth didn't produce Silverstein because he thought the songs were adequate. The singer thought David was a complete "psycho" although he has never met him. David still loves Burlington and TBS. He didn't know who they were but mixed them anyway. Keep up the great work!
Got the chance to meet these guys just over a week ago in Manchester. What an amazing bunch of guys. I was so grateful for that few moments they gave me but I could hand on heart tell that they were grateful that they meant something to me too. They will never not be my favourite!
I loved this talk! I'm currently preparing backing tracks for an MCR tribute band where I'm the drummer and I didn't know the band before. I'm discovering a world! 🤯
The “boys like girls in parentheses”. Please no. Why would people want that? Swift only did that bc she wants more money…i mean “credits”. Even swifts original recordings are BETTER. Sure the new ones sound better in terms of quality, but the emotion and nostalgia cant be replicated. I think if BLG were to re record, wed lose that OG nostalgia sound as well. Martins voice has aged like fine wine, but there’s something so raw and comforting about the original albums that i wouldnt want to change. The only “re records” id want would be super old stuff i find on youtube that isnt on Spotify or anything like ”i told you so” or “kill me in a record shop”. Back in the day id be downloading those with RUclips to mp3, but now i have to listen to 15 yr old videos someone made on ivideo. Wow im dating myself. Happy 30th to me. Lol
I love your podcast and loved seeing you guys in Vegas! Keep it up♥️
HEY GUYS ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND RUN A ZINE CALLED TUNERATSFANZINE AND WE WANTED TO KNOW IF WE COULD INTERVIEW ONE OF YOU
As musicians I feel like we want everything on an album to sound "perfect", but I love everything about the first part of this interview... people just care about the song. Nobody really thinks about how the snare sound other than the musicians who wrote it. This is actually kinda mind-blowing 😂
Martin, that first album got me thru so many ups and dows over the last 18 years. That album will always be my go to when I need a pick me up or when I want to celebrate something. That album taught me to live in the moment, not to worry about what we don't know or what happened. BLG shaped my life into something I'm proud of. Thank you Martin
Only 5 mins in so forgive me if they answer it...Has anyone in the band mentioned if the Finger Things was named after the The Starting Line lyric from the song Island?
I hope their other songs (Take A Shot, Martinis and Mixed Feelings, Catch Me If You Can, etc) get proper releases as well
Sick podcast. So glad I found it. Pretty much what me and some friends sit around and talk about (and always say "this should be a podcast" lol) Good work guys. Subbed.
Gotta refer to Morgan as Pete Wentz from now on
Bombay bicycle club is also in the bald frontman club and killing it
I was an overcast kid. 💔
I have found my pod xxx love this keep it going x
There's nothing dorkier than "my alien" but it is a hell of a good song. I love this album.
The starting line is easily my top 1 band
I am in my absolute bliss over all of this. But Morgan fangirling over Vacationer at the end is such my vibe ✌💛
I love this interview!!! Also saw them at WWWY and it was incredible!
Duuuuude! This album is a serious banger! Totally underrated!
you guys should talk about afycso fr…
🔥🔥🔥
Can’t wait for what’s next. Love “The Weekend” getting its proper release, such a great watch. 💖🎀 #DGAFtwdc forever forever 💕

Cobra Starship is rhe bee's frigging knees!! So excited that they did this reunion show.... hopefully there is more!!1
this was the perfect saves the day video! would love to know what book you were referring to near the beginning :)
all my homies love gabe saporta
Is this considered their best album? I listened to the Upsides and Suburbia in high school I always thought those were considered their best
Everything is taking too long Work on pacing
also its funny you say TOCS cover is as iconic as Jane Doe . Cuz Converge lead singer did the art for the TOCS deluxe album , its sweet
wait what member of DC Talk is doing onlyfans?? you might have the wrong group or maybe touring member or something?
Hawthorne was always I heard from my sister, but never knew who the members were. Great JT interview and RIP Casey, amazing screamer
The Finer Things is one of my fav album 🔥
My favorite thing is Timmy falling asleep in your arms while you guys talk about this album! I agree that this specific album alters brain chemistry. I love the way you guys delve into the meaning, spirit, and breath that lives within the albums you talk about and how they relate to you. And I REALLY liked Joni's notes on this album. (PS I had a great time at Emo Nite in LV!) ✌
one of my fave things about their live show is the 2 drumsets in cigarettes and saints
accidentally wore my "i just want to sell out my funeral" tee to therapy once
the hum goes on forever is like the sequal to tgg and hit just as hard for me
One of the best albums ever created. I saw them do this whole album live, and it was the best show I've ever been to. Hands down.
I remember watching Cove and Saosin play bury your head for the very first time at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. Will always remember that moment. Thanks for the music Cove! Thanks for doing this interview CDBURNERS! <3
Idk bout you guys but I still hear cartel playing in the grocery store lol
The things that take effort are always going to be what you're most proud of. Underoath constantly puts in the work (20+ years later) and doesn't do it FOR anyone else -- it becomes others wants because of this. When you do what you LOVE doing, everything else is secondary (money, fame, etc..).
Had no idea one of the singers is now a Christian worship leader. Id love for you guys to hopefully get him on to talk about his conversion and why he switched lanes. Im a catholic and i love my fairh and my emo/punk music from 2008 simultaneously. I wonder if maybe the “rockstar” life was pulling him too far from his faith? As a song writer myself, i think its totally possible to love god but also write “secular” music. We all have normal human emotions that can be expressed through music.
cool
Yeah it is fucking weird why cartel didnt get bigger. Its some of the best pop punk ive ever heard in my life.
If you like MCS, you'll definitely like Origami Angel!!!
To this day, one of my all time favorite albums (only like the Branden albums, although Lies for liars has some good stuff on it) and I’m so glad someone is giving it it’s flowers and I can hear some of these stories and lore around it. I remember seeing the video for take it away on Fuse at my ex-girlfriend’s house (was already a big fan of the first album) and thinking “holy shit… they just upped the game” and once I had the cd in my hands, I knew it was all I’d listen to for the next few months. It lived in my portable cd player on the bus, and in between classes. And then into my stereo at home while I airdrummed to learn the parts. All time classic! Thank you for this episode. *edit: never even heard of this show/podcast before this popping up in my algorithm, but I’m stoked to subscribe and see what else you guys do
