is that a silt strider?
We are brothers now🤝
You guy's are great
Thank you!!
Nice Ozzy remix
Unintentional, but we're glad you like it
@ oh yeah
Sounds like it's gonna be a banger. Cant wait to listen.
Thank you! Should release at midnight🔥
Why bassists insist on using their effects on the high register? i mean guitars already do that
"Why do we need lightbulbs? My candle already does that."
Lookin forward to hearing it man.
We appreciate you!
I hope lots of people listen to it and like it! 😊
Thank you! I do too, and even if that doesn't happen, I'm proud to have made something cool with my dad.
Very cool man
Thank you!
Warframe
🤔⁉️
Very nice 😊do you listen to Michael Manring?
Thank you. I do! He's a genius🔥
Sounded a lot like holy wars
We totally agree!!
That’s sick man!!
Thank you!!
Your playing never ceases to amaze me. Absolutely beautiful. It’s a crime you’re under 50k subs, let alone under 1000. Keep playing, I hope more people start listening 🤘🤘
Thank you so much! Very kind of you🔥
that sure sounds great. do you find that it sounds better because it's a multiscale?
Absolutely! It has that "sound"
I am wheiting for next part but i have a question: this map is only on bedrock?
Thank you! Yes, this is only on Bedrock with no mods or add-ons.
very reminicent of ultra kill.
I'm not familiar with that. I'll check it out!

Thank you so much! You're a real one bro🔥

Thank you!!🔥🔥

Trueeee🔥
Great tone! What's your sector?😉
Thank you! My Spector is a Euro5LX
I'm upset that this isn't more popular
Facts. This is kinda just for me and my friends anyway.
Fire level design
Thanks! You ain't seen nothin yet I promise
It doesn't look any different than the crowded trailer park that is one of Billy Sheehan's basses. :) I wasn't sure it would be strong enough to vibrate bass strings. I have this on a Jackson DK2S and I love using it for solos.
I wasn't sure either, but it's really strong!
@@jakekiernan33 Yours looks like the single coil too, which I have in my HSS Dinky. Not sure Sustainiac (or Fernandes, when they made sustainers) makes a humbucker version wide enough for 5 string bass/7 string guitar, but maybe a humbucker version would work better for bass because the humbucker "sees" more of the bass string when it operates? Then again, if you're not using it as a pickup, half of the humbucker may not matter.
@AAAA-lt9hq I had the same question! Turns out the humbuckers are just singlecoils with an empty shell on the other half, just for looks.
@@jakekiernan33 Thanks for clarifying. I thought they were maybe a hum canceling dummy coil or became a single coil when the Sustainiac was engaged but hot more output like a humbucker when played like a traditional pickup. Something I might also recommend is I'm not sure how high the voltage for the sustainer units is supposed to be, but many guitarists and bassists like to run their active instruments in 18-24 volts with the 24 Volt Mod, mostly used with EMGs. I thought using this Mod with the Sustainiac might damage the circuit board inside, so I've always used it with passive guitars (and, passive humbuckers give more wiring options if they are four conductor plus ground). Thanks again.
Playing a 5 String is hard enough. But 2? You the MaN !
Thanks so much dude!!🔥🔥
that is the coolest thing I heard tonight
Thank you so much! Feel free to drop us a follow
i need to hear you play a cliff burton solo man
Maybe someday!
Piter Stele ?
Yes🔥
Not to be pedantic, just sharing the knowledge. The modes on the Sustainiac are not normal, one octave and two octave, they are fundamental, mix and harmonic. Fundamental producing mostly the original note/1st harmonic that is being played, mix being a mixture of fundamental and 2nd/3rd harmonics depending on string and position on the neck, and harmonic being 5th or 7th harmonics. Love t he video it's a really cool instrument, just thought it's always good to share the knowledge
That piano-like resonance and sustain 😍 someday I'll own a Spector, my Fender Precision and Rickenbacker 4003S need another friend lol
All I can say is: you won't regret it!🔥
WDYM spector, like phil spector?
Spector bass, the brand of bass I'm playing here.
Oh okay that makes more sense
Интересно,сколько времени,струны держат строй ,после такой растяжки?
Струны очень хорошо держат строй!
Are you ever planning on making this bass fretless? I would assume that would make a crazy interesting sound
Definitely not this bass, but maybe I'll have a fretless bass someday
Sounds like something Cliff Burton would've came up with. Great job
I appreciate you!!
My first time seeing one of these beauties!!!
It's quite the spectacle!
@jakekiernan33 That bass is aaaaamazing. I've really never seen one with a trem on it. That's wild!
Love it !! 🔥🔥
Thank you! 🙏
Just awesome, man! Keep it up🔥
Thank you!!
I have a Kahler on my 63 jazz bass. Had it put on in early 80’s.
Nice!!
What pedals and settings are you using
Powered by electromagnetic free energy devices from illegally compartmented black projects stolen from Nicola Tesla by Lockheed Martin Skunk Works and Northrop Grumman.
I too enjoy listening to the distractible podcast
No way you caught that😭
Nice Spector!
Thank you!
Oh come on! This shit is completely useless (I gotta buy a sustaniac now thanks)
Lmaoooo😭
@@jakekiernan33 can you tell me about the placement of it? can it be placed somewhere so it's not in the way of slapping?
Are you asking about the Kahler tremolo or the sustainiac?
@@jakekiernan33 the sustaniac, I actually didn't know they made it for bass.
Sustainiacs must be in a neck pickup placement, at least 3 inches away from the bridge pickup. Also, I don't recommend buying a sustainiac and installing it yourself because they are sentient and will drive you insane trying to make it work.
That Kahler look awesome
I agree!!
Great video❗ What a beautiful bass❗👍👍👍
Thank you! I agree
Saw Billy Sheehan use one back 30 years ago with Tallas
Now THAT'S a throwback
To make a short story long, I'm trying to get back into bass. I dropped out of it a couple decades ago before I really even learned to play. Basically got bored because it seemed the choices were either drone along on root notes behind a band, or slap... which sounds like somebody dropped a bass down a flight of stairs. And I wanted to play something more entertaining. Anyhow, about a year ago I bought a $100 Rogue 5-string to try and get back into it. I went cheap because I wasn't sure about it. And the bass pretty much sat untouched since. Now I'm out of work on disability, lots of time on my hands. So I started looking at the bass again. Was going to treat myself for my birthday by starting some upgrades. Starting with the bridge since the new strings I bought with the base won't feed through the stock bridge (oops). I was all set on the Babicz FCH bridge. Not at all sure why I even clicked on this video since a whammy bar was not on my radar. Still not sure about the whammy, but never would have found Kahler without this video. So, thanks for that. And thanks for showing some of the subtle things you can do with a whammy. As an old-school metalhead, my experience with whammies didn't include subtlety. The only thing I see about the Kahler that I don't like is that changing string height looks cumbersome. Other than that, the fixed version looks like it locks down the strings like nothing else I've seen, including Babicz.
I love your story! You're not alone, brother. I'm glad my video inspired you somehow. Thankfully, adjusting string height on this Kahler is easy: dive the trem, move the string to the side, use the set screw, then put the string back and you're good to go. I hope you get back into playing bass, consider this your sign.
@@jakekiernan33 I can see the whammy making it easier. But I'm still not sure I want a whammy. The fixed version wouldn't be as simple.
@@jakekiernan33 Just went and looked at the site again. No whammy for me. No way I can justify the extra $300 at this point.
I understand! But, if you know how these temolo bridges are made, you know they're worth the price. I have machine shop experience, and I'm a happy customer, so I completely agree with their pricing. I agree with your perspective too!
@@jakekiernan33 I don't question the value. It's simply not in my budget.
I wish you could really crank up the distortion to see how it sounds
Imagine damage inc intro with that
Truee
does your sustainer sustain?
Yes! You should see the videos I've made about it.
