We don't have control over some things, but oh, all the other anniversaries, the last one that you shared with her, oh I begged God to help her make it through Christmas and then begged and begged he'd give you and her one more anniversary so the two of you could remember all the happy times you had. I've had people say, " oh remember the good times you had", it's hard when your heart has shattered in a million pieces. I am just starting to be able to reminisce more, so there's hope for you. I'll explain the cover picture. A day of Thanksgiving couldn't go without the trout on the plate from our stream. Our neighbor and his friend have owned their place since I was sixteen. He loved my Mom and when he went fishing, if he caught a trout he always gave it to me to cook for her because it was her favorite. She'd always say, "Bless his heart" and she could not have been more thankful for anything and for those that trout fish, you don't usually give your catch away. So because she was so Thankful, she needed to be included on this special day. It three AM and kind of hurting so will go for now, your comments are so encouraging, Gloria Lynne

Oh I love to decorate and have fun with my son! November1st it all gets put away and the 20 large bags of Christmas tree, comes out of attic and takes at least 2 days to put together. My son had the audacity to ask me if I wanted a smaller Christmas tree this year so its easier for me! I said where will I put all the ornaments that have to fit on this one? Another Christmas tree, I can't believe he'd say that, gotta love him! Always lookin out for his Mom.

You are a strong man and Linda would be very proud of you. She knew before she met you, you were going to be her husband and your lives were a light to all who knew you. Did you realize its always the first day in heaven when you get there? It didn't hit me until I wrote "Whatch doin now Ma". Jesus is the light and there is no darkness so its always the same day. some just get there a little earlier in the morning and some of us won't get there till later in the day. There will be no tears, no grieving, just pure joy, first to be with our Saviour who died so we could be with our loved ones, and then Thankful joy to the Father for asking His son to sacrifice his life for us and then, YEA!! We get to be with those we love so very much, forever and ever. Let His light shine in your life! Gloria Lynne

Yell I took a fall about a week and a half ago. Ribs, back, arm( just got operated on last year), and neck again. I just got done with 2 years of neck from 2 falls, one wasn't my fault. Its a bugger. I keep praying for Tim (dad) to have a change of heart and send something, all I can do is pray. And I love seeing your picture!

Isn't that a beautiful song! When I was in the Holy Land, I stood where they probably played the game, King for a day, when they put the purple robe on and mocked him, spit and slapped him. Boy you are fast!!!! I have been working on a church song now about 2 weeks, trying to memorize the words, I can't stand using the music stand on the video. I almost have it down where I can start practicing it on the guitar, unless it hurts my ribs too much. I have 3 church book songs I'm working on , two BG songs and one Kitty Wells song. I have apx 15 hours into the first song trying to memorize, pronounce the words as they need to be, and hopefully soon you'll have another song to sing to. I really appreciate your comments on RUclips, it gives me inspiration to continue, see you have more of a purpose than you knew! Mike the one CD I have, has no background music, its A Capella, with Mom and I singing and Mark and Andrea adding the other harmony parts. Mom was with me when I was cutting my Bluegrass CD with Mark and I asked him, since I had Mom there, could we do a CD of her and I, and he said absolutely! Most Cd's have 10-14 songs and I let Mom pick out what she wanted to sing and I think if has 16 songs. I just took pic's of each CD for you to choose, but I'll have to try to find a replacement for the one or I won't be able to order more. Each song has its own time for a person to hear. We all have more to give Mike. Just looking at each pic of Linda, brings her closer to me. Its her eyes and smile that touches me each time and the happiness seen in her, at whatever her age, what an inspiration to her children, and their children and to a husband, that you can tell, just made her glow.
