    The Veth Propulsion Family day should be copied at every school and university throughout the world. The philosophy of introducing the particular propulsive knowledge to all the members of the family including the young children, uncovering the silent and invisible engineering functions that we see in this video and other Veth's products, In general, this should be part of the whole family education. The normal tendency is that the family is usually entertained and presented with sound undulations and colorful decoration, and emotional artistic products and religious-spiritual social and secular situations to release the pains of the human soul through hallucinations. The manner in which the wonders of engineering are usually projected to the public is what makes a great nation, as it is the absolute and real measures that make a great nation/empire and not the relative emotional qualities of social-oriented spiritual products/services of sound as in poems and color as in pictures, and vociferous projections which most homes and schools, and churches and other religious centers often do. Normally people like to handle the language symbols, which are only shadows, and images resulting from a transformation of the real thing, as found in a written or spoken language or art or religions and politics. With letting the children control the action of those propellers, the young members of the family will start being inquisitive as to what makes it all work and so active in a static and dynamic sense, coupled to an emotional spiritual soul moving component, if one is deep enough to feel what is going on behind what is visible. While the primary human sensors, as the eyes and the ears will pick up the information around us, it is the mental processing power that will initiate the active power which will lead to intelligence and ingenuity. Since we are now dealing with Propellers, it would be such a great leap, in general education, if all grown-up people, at some stage in their life, would recognize the contribution of the various parameters in a propeller, as Diameter, Pitch, Rake of the blade, Camber of the cross-section, the washout at the tips of the blades to reduce cavitation and while water is normally treated as being incompressible and non-expandible, in truth an unbounded lump/mass of water cannot be pressurized by accelerating it too fast across a propeller solid blade surface, as the lump of water near the blade surface, it would distort and flow over the edges of the leading edge, escaping the trailing edge and the tips of a propeller blade, and if a lump/ mass of water is sucked out too fiercely, then the water would boil and spray and vapor forming and existing in between the blades of a propeller do not contribute to Forces as when MASS, multiplied by ACCELERATION, either through pressure zones or suction zones existing anywhere in the voluminous space around and within the propeller, It may be hard to believe that a propeller only operates if one sets up the right condition for the static mass inertia of a lump of water to be accelerated but does not distort too much while the blade moves with the needed time duration and angle of attack, as seen by the water close to the propeller blade. All propellers with helical blades, as in a deeply threaded rod, do not change the volume of water in the enclosed volume. This also happens as a nut running on a threaded rod does not change its volume. Also, this is the same as a piston moving in a cylinder, the volume of the moving water ahead or behind the piston does not change and all zones have the same velocity. Such pressure-increasing devices can create water acceleration ahead of the propeller and behind the propeller but not in between the blades of a propeller. If the blades of the propeller have a curved or camber in the cross-section, then the velocity over the blade does change, and this is more obvious in surface propellers. In a propeller with curved blades ( not the same pitch over the blade), they normally need rake back to ensure that the change in velocity of water across the blades will provide the constant volume condition of ( entry area * entry velocity)= (exit area * exit velocity) and if such propeller is shrouded to hold the pressure, then the shroud needs to be tapered and not parallel as in some impellers. Holding two lump/ masses of solid water, one on the pressure side and the other on the suction side of a propeller blade is not so easy, as on the pressure side the pressure would crumble and distort it and make it flow over the leading and trailing edges and the tip of the blade, while on the suction side the water will boil and cavitate and small drops of vapor will kill any propeller. The engineers do not worry too much about shooting out water from the trailing edge of a propeller blade, but coaxing a lump of solid water to enter above or below the leading edge needs to ensure that the apparent velocity of water into the blade is just correct. Any escapement of water over the blade tips is determinantal to the efficiency of a propeller and so propeller blade tips must not have a constant radius profile, as more time is available for water to escape from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure suction surface of the wingtip. Shrouding the propeller wingtips and adding multiple blades such that there is not much space for water escape will result in a higher pressure build-up in the space of a propeller or impeller, which could have the advantage of adding a diffuser behind the propeller to change pressure energy into velocity energy at the exit of the diffuser or nozzle. Now that we mentioned diffusers, it would be ample for any child to learn about divergent and convergent diffusers through which hot water or hot fuel is moving, as that state would epitomize the dynamics of what happens in any propeller or nozzle. The combination of contrarotating propellers shown at 0:18 hide the complexity of water dynamics which will correct any twist or curl of water emanating from the first state and while the stator blades in an impeller stage are normally stationary, this arrangement makes both stator and rotor rotate one receiving the vector of the previous stage. The scimitar leading edges with a curve trajectory containing an ever-increasing radius, that scimitar curve will go to ensure that in addition to the leading edge catering fro the required relative velocity into the leading edge the scimitar leading edge will not hit the lump of water with a straight edge as a cricket bat but the scimitar will service the lump of water more gracefully as it rides over or under the leading edge of the propeller blade. At the tips with the radius of the leading edge having an ever-increasing radius, this helps to ram the underside of the blade to keep the high-pressure side under the blade. This is the reason while a Delta wing will not stall at the wingtips as the rate of change of the length of the wingtip will be more than the rate of change of water trying to escape from under the wing, tip to over the wing/ tip. If what was said in this paragraph is not enough then the wing/ propeller tips should be shrouded, the number of blades increased to have a high-pressure unit rather than a single blade/wing, acting in isolation which can never build up pressure under it. An unshrouded propeller with narrow blades can never build up pressure as much as a shrouded multi-bladed propeller/ impeller where we can say that it is now acting as a high-pressure pump where an axial flow can be aided by a centrifugal contribution, but let us stick to the basic of axial propellers shown in this video. The propeller showing at 0: 43 is running in the wrong direction and the entry into the trailing edge would be a little noisy, but that type of propeller when rotated in the correct direction has a wingtips design which does contribute to silent dynamics for various reasons which we shall not cover at this stage. The Children show at 1:00 on that blown inclination slides, are getting the feel of how water lumps behave on the blade of a turbine rather than a propeller, and it is the friction with the ground that enables the plaything not to move like a turbine blade! Now that is education for those children who should be told that at the Veth Propulsion Family Day 2019 they acted like lumps of water on the blade of a turbine/ propeller. Congratulations to the management for providing just that, which is very fitting for the occasion. The shrouded propeller shown at 1:40 depicts how a soft lump/ mass of water is dynamically bounded at the leading edge, and the statically by the shroud at the wingtips but free to escape on the trailing edge, while the blade area with respect to the circular rotation of the blade will ensure that the static inertia of the volume of the two lump/ mass of water being handled by one blade will obey what the engineer ordered! At 1:09 shows a lot of silent people all with a dynamic mental state getting a feel of the wonders of a propeller and in the Veth Swing out shown in ruclips.net/video/5l8Ns4cutj4/видео.html there are silent and invisible dynamic functions too long to describe here. Congratulations to Veth Propulsion Management and all the families who mentally handled and processes more static and dynamic coordinated waltzing functions than visiting an art gallery or a theatre with an orchestra playing harmonious philharmonic music!
