A traditional Japanese New Year (Japanese Temple).
Well....we made it through yet another year. We want to thank everyone for your support throughout 2022. We rung in the New Year by visiting a local temple and experiencing a traditional buddhist prayer ritual that dates back over 1000 years. This video is mostly uncut so you can experience this part of Japanese culture in its raw beauty. Enjoy!!

It`s real! We spotted a T-Rex near the Fukushima exclusion zone.

An amusing adventure for todays episode. We were touring an area in the Fukushima exclusion zone that has recently opened up again when we came across this ancient dinosaur. This has to be the worlds best bowl of pork...no joke!! We found a food truck that makes this wonderful, party in your mouth meal!! It`s in a local area in Japan in a city called Iwaki. We tried an old style Japanese ramune sweets snack. If you don`t know what ramune is, it`s a kind of sherbet. Very traditional here in Japan. Out on one of our adventures, we came across this ramen vending machine. Of course we just had to try it. These style vending machines have been popping up all over Japan recently with the outbreak of COVID. Possibly trying to limit human contact and instill the stay at home mentality. One of the main reasons why I hate gardening is because it will NEVER end. You can try to keep it kempt or vibrant only for one slip up to be costly and once you've popped your clogs, it will start going mad. Even if someone takes your place after, it will go mad when THEY pass and so on and so forth. Unless you're keeping crops and doing farming, It's literally a pointless, losing battle.
Can do without the music in the background. It doesn't jive with the video and is way too loud.
