I had wired the DRLs to the fog lights with the old headlights, so I just unplugged the wires from the fog harness.

The fenders on the tundra right now were stock from the factory so I didn't have to buy them. I did find a set on eBay that fits 03-06 tundras to help you out in your search for some though (link down below)! If this is too expensive, I would suggest going to a local junk yard and taking them off a Tundra that is being parted out. Hope this helps! From what I have seen online, this description from CarsDirect seems to make the most sense, "Ultimately, the spacer increases the air velocity which causes an increase in atomization. Also, the spiral flow that results from a throttle body spacer offers much better combustion".

We are going to take out the engine and do a rebuild sometime this fall or winter. Likely rod knock or a spun rod bearing, but we will do a video on the whole process, so stay tuned for more tundra content!! We may also put some forged pistons and rods while we are in the engine, depending on price, so that a TRD Supercharger can reliably be put on without fear of just blowing the engine again.

I guess it depends, what area did you install the LEDs? Like just the overhead ones or did you do the HVAC ones aswell?

@@totheextreme I got the led's today and I just wanted to test them before actually doing the entire cabin of my 2000 Tundra. I tested the map lights above my head and it worked. i put back the original map light afterwards. I then moved onto the dome light and this is where everything started to go wrong. I took out the old dome light an put the new led in and it worked but wanted to make sure the other ones in the same size worked as well and they did. Then when I went to put the dome cover back on I checked the map lights with the original lights to make sure they work and then boom, I got nothing. I went to check the dome light with the good bulbs and nothing worked. I then started the car up to make sure it would run and it did. Then I went to turn on my radio and I got nothing. Now I checked the fuse where the hood and driver side and I'm still trying to figure out what is going on. If it does come down to a fuse, how would I be able to install the LED's without this happening again?

@@kiddoekayasitt9825 This is an interesting problem, I checked on some forums about interior LED swaps just now and a person has a similar issue to what you described. He said “Remove the battery cables before installing. had this problem. Was shorting out the fuse will placing the led bulb in.” I would just try to find the blown fuse and replace it, and install the new lights next time without battery connected to the car.

@@totheextreme Ok, thanks! I'm looking at videos from different cars and some people had a fuse that would control the list of problems I had and it worked for them. If the fuse was the issue, would you recommend me installing the lights including the gauge and hvac without the battery connected? Do i leave the fuses in?

@@kiddoekayasitt9825 Yeah I would probably install the new fuse and make sure everything works again, then disconnect the battery to install the rest of them just to be safe.

They actually run cooler than the stock ones, no issues so far!
