People like him don’t forfeit whether I’m scoring or not scoring. Anyways I’m not a 1s main, and I have a weird play style. I’m very shoot and cycle, since in 2s after I shoot my tm8 can be there to shoot again so I can cycle back after they shoot.

@@NoPixer the "shoot style" is good up until champ your gonna have to learn to keep possession eventually. Also if you held possession @ 8-1 the game would have been minutes shorter. He may have not forfeited. But as I said learning how to keep the ball away from an opponent is a stellar skill to have.

@partiallybreezy2050 Yes but when I first started playing the game I took a really big skip and didn’t fully master the core mechanics of the game, basically I play on momentum and everytime I try to keep the ball away and play for time, I mess up and lose, and no way was I finna lose that match

@@NoPixer I promise you big dog, if you were at 8-1 and he scored 3 goals you would've came back. You had him out matched. And also you prove my point it would have been a great opportunity to learn. And part of learning is making mistakes. But I digress. Since you do struggle with that and you apparently are extremely afraid of losing games I recommend making a private match 4v1 against the hardest bots in the game. Or 2v1. Just having another (car/player/bot) being there adds pressure and allows you to learn how to keep possession or make touches to yourself. Make the time unlimited. Again dude I play one's a fair amount and when I get scored on a lot/lose I generally continue to play. I'm at the point where I can tell when I'm learning stuff and sometimes I can just tell when I'm playing bad and when I need to ff other times I figure it out in the middle of the game and come back from a seven goal deficit. That player you played NO matter what should continue to play because he's going to learn something from that match. Even squishy has said when you're in the lower ranks don't ff try to learn something from the game. And save the replays and analyze them. Another thing you have to realize is that dog you when you crush someone like that and they aren't forfeiting there's two choices you have if you're going to type something. One be toxic like you did. (And don't deny it just because you said "no toxic" and then say something toxic doesn't make it better) ORRRR you can realize that they're trying to learn and say something nice. Because honestly he may look up to you because of your skill. He is indirectly saying he wants to learn from you because you're a good player compared to him. So just keep this in mind. It's not difficult to be a decent human being. This game rewards

I really don’t think it is. Anyways, being “childish” isn’t a bad thing, and I’m a child anyways. The amount of boring people who have just constantly called me “childish” has taken the fun out of replying to all the hate comments.

@@NoPixer Being confident in your beliefs is a good trait and is something you have. However, I'd suggest that when you're losing in a 1s match and you think you'll probably lose the game, keep playing. Try to win when you think you won't be able to. The only guaranteed way of losing is by giving up. No matter how much you think you're gonna lose, just stay calm and keep playing. I promise you'll see results.

Trust me that’s the wrong route. Don’t let your mechanics fall too much behind but have good core mechanics is the best way to rank up. I would say the best thing to practice is shadow defense and dribbling, if you get good at those early you should rank up pretty fast.

I don’t know why you came here so hostile. I seem to have struck a nerve with a lot of people (news flash idc). I’ll try to address somethings but firstly, I never once said anywhere that I am the best and I’m not even trying to act like I’m the best. I understand for someone if my rank I should be a lot better at least when it comes to my mechanics. I’ve never had the greatest mechanics and it’s a very big flaw in my gameplay but I have braincells which is why I am at least the rank I am. Also I have friends who are gc and I’ve played with them and yes I got destroyed. Though I’m not actually learning anything when I play, it’s just me having to scramble for boost and by the time I get boost I have to go back to goal and defend, if they weren’t my friends and it wasn’t just for fun I would have been left. The whole toxic thing, I never said I wasn’t toxic, me saying no toxic was in that moment, the mocking was me being toxic only because I was annoyed. Also why would I care what social media has to say? I’m not even a RUclipsr like that, I post for fun, and replying to all these comments have been a lot more fun than playing rocket league

I don’t know how that correlates to me not caring if he ff or not. Secondly the whole I take my time to respond because I care and thought people were on my side, again I really don’t. I just was toxic he made me stay in the match. Also you won by “kickoffs and flicks” huge reason why I don’t like ones. Besides the fact, if I forfeit every match just because the other person wouldn’t even though I clearly won, it would only allow players that aren’t good to continue to rank up and mess up the ranking system. Also being down 7 goals and making a comeback doesn’t really say if it was well deserved or not. I think that just says who you were facing is terrible for losing a 7 goal lead, and they probably got cocky because you weren’t good and they relaxed and you took advantage of that which made you win, but do you see how stupid that is. He went from being up 7 to losing all because he relaxed, so imagine if I went from 10 and lost because I decided to relaxed since my opponent wasn’t as good as me. Then my opponent would have the story of saying “Hey I beat this guy when I was down 10” and that would only create more people who won’t forfeit, creating longer matches

Yes he got cocky which you did aswell you thought he was bad and he wanted to get better which is amazing of him and the fact that he wants to get better means he is trying. I face my gc1 friend in 1's everyday and lose everyday just so i can learn what not to do and do to get better losing is what makes you better but winning isnt always best you must lose to get better and the fact u were angry with him all because he didnt forfeit makes u the asshole because he is trying to get better is a dick move why cant u understand he knows he will losebut wants to figure out how and why. I didn’t even type until I was up like 4 5 goals, he wasn’t finna forfeit. Also what’s there to be happy about? “I beat a silver by 10 goals, oh my, I’m so proud of myself…” and everyone keeps saying he was just trying to enjoy the game, I don’t see what is enjoyable about not being able to have more that 5 seconds touching the ball. I was pressuring him constantly, I don’t see how that is fun.

I don’t see how. If you lost, take your loss. I don’t like ones due to how fast the matches change, but usually they are fast because people forfeit once they are down a few goals. It’s understandable if you are down a few goals but you are slowly making a comeback, it’s not understandable when you have no chance at coming back. People who stay in matches even when they are losing are probably hoping for the opponent to lag out or get upset and start making mistakes, and all that allows is sucky players to advance in the ranks.

I mean if you look at all my goals, it’s like a loop. He won’t learn because he is just “playing to play”. It would be a different story if maybe he had some breakaways, but he didn’t. He was playing scared the whole time and when he did touch the ball, he passed it back to me. If this is what you call learning, it’s gonna be a long journey for him to make any progress.

I’m pretty sure as a gc you have a good understanding of what you can and cannot do, and I would also hope that as a gc you aren’t ever down by such an embarrassing amount. I strongly doubt that what you take from a loss is what this guy is gonna take from this loss. Lower rank gameplay is just rolling the ball off the wall and power shots, not really a lot of control down here. This guy never made any progress during the match, he stayed pretty blindly to his mistakes and kept repeating them.

Every mode you can score 10 goals in 40 seconds, you could score 20 goals in 40 seconds. Yes, it wasn’t impossible for him to win, but take in the factor of how rare it would have been. Though based off your “No one should give up and ff in 1s…” you wouldn’t forfeit a match even if you were down 100 goals? I mean you can still win, but would you really ?

@@NoPixer if my opponent can score 100 goals , then I can score 100 as well. Also t there are less chances of coming back forma 7 goal difference in other game modes compared to 1s. You gotta respect your opp bru

@@Okiknox321 I didn’t post this to show off that I’m better than that person. It wasn’t even that good of gameplay by me, just basic open nets because this guy could defend. Or it was me just being super aggressive because this guy had no offense. I posted it because it’s annoying to me that people waste my time when they could be good sports and just forfeit. I don’t see myself as a good player or even average, I’d say I’m decent and I know when someone is better than me. If I know I’m going to lose, I will take my loss and move on. I didn’t post this to say he is bad or to make fun of him, it’s just the staying in a losing game part that annoys me.

That ending segment was just so I could type instead of talking over more gameplay. Also throughout my channel it shows my progress and I don’t just sit in training. It’s just as someone who has played the game for a while now, I’ve learned being decimated by your opponent doesn’t help you learn anything. I used to play hours and hours everyday up against people spamming mechanics I couldn’t save. Honestly you learn better doing 1v4 up against bots.

I said at the beginning I wasn’t one to give advice. That wasn’t really me giving advice it was more of me just rambling. Anyways idrc all that much. I’ve been playing the game for awhile so I’ve dealt with worse. I mean I’ve had matches in 2s where the opposing team starts own goaling and my tm8 is still scoring and nobody is skipping the replay so the match just goes on even longer.
