Ere Fendika! Oh Fendika! The beating heart of Addis. Under the protection of its smiling, bouncing guardian angel, Melaku, defender of the arts and artists in all their guises, shpaes and glories. Fendika, music and dance. The laments of the masinqo with the voice of the azmari, the rhythmic drum dances of all the regions of Ethiopia, jazz from all over the world connected to the unique scales of Ethiopian music, backed by the pluck of Henok's bass. A whole universe, a whole world, people from all over the globe meeting here, simply exchanging words and laughter, sharing the pleasure of seeing each other, listening to each other, drinking together. And always in the back room, exhibitions by different artists each time, revealing infinite imaginary worlds. My deepest gratitude to Fendika for so many fond memories, for the jam sessions where I'd bring along a few harmonica tones, for the intoxication and the beauty. Fendika is not dead, long live Fendika. የሞትንም እኛ ፣ ያለንም እኛ።

Where is that bass sound henok?
The sound engineer hasn't done a good job or the way it was recorded. Henok is a great bassist, dagmawi Ali does an amazing job when it comes to recording and mixing as well as playing. I believe it's fasil wuhib that played on the recording.
