That threads in reverse? clean water, its been worked on lately. I once drowned a guy when the wrong system was drained, he was pitch black like someone painted him. Good thing he had a shutoff valve ready to put in, but its not as easy as it looks.
Where do you shut off the water supply when replacing the piv?
It’s not necessary to shut off the water if you’re replace the PIV. Only if you’re replacing the gate valve that it controls

Usa una pipa y la usas a la llave para aflojar entonces la pipa te va a dar más fuerza

El empaque es el que ya no sirve y esa es la razón por la que loquea. El costo es más o menos la mitad de lo que cuesta reemplazarla.
