Sunken Ferry Boat with Rebreathers

On April 29 1990 a Ferry Boat travelling from Leghorn(Tuscany) to Trapany(Sicily) capsized few miles off the arrival destination apparently without reason. Sea was calm and wind was only 7 kts. The wreck lies in 106mtrs of water

Nice report of the exploration of an Italian Tanker sunk by a British sub during the second world war. Dives are conducted using closed circuit rebreathers till an interesting depth of -143mtr

Sicily, San Vito lo Capo. Rebreather dive from land. After a descent to -106 mtrs we enter a sea cave. On the way back, around -80mtrs we met a beautiful black coral spot

Your thinking of commercial bailout systems like the Divex SLS MK IV. Its functional at 500m but only for a short time interval allowing you to get back to the bell. Its a useful system, its just not designed to dive with like your standard CCR or SCR.
I meant:you cant bail out oc because of the two stages at this depth.You need to fix the Problem in/with the unit.When I am wrong pls. Tell me.Regards and dive save.

@unclepeter99 the COMEX simulated dive for 700 meters took 48 days in decompression. I can understand OC for like, brief dives but working for hours on a oil rig at 2-300 meters? I'm assume the diving chamber would make everything easier with regards to bailout and deco. :p
@unclepeter99 I think one of the military models was 500m. Mk. 15 or something, it was American.
