Can i buy this template?
Keep these going 💪🏾
Still so underrated. I feel like the world is missing out by not seeing these videos, at least the producers and artists of the world.
Love it!
Banger song ! Sounds really great Where can I contact you ?
Love it mate 🔥
Fuck the clickbait ;-) - anyway....Killer Song, really cool producing. Subscribed.
Top notch quality educational/inspirational content right here! Awesome. Thanks!
Amazing track, great job!
Cheers!!!
amazing.
why the clickbait bro ? :/
How did I find this just now?! 🥲 better late than never I guess! Thank you for sharing this and giving such a deep and detailed inside on your work 🖤 I absolutely love this
So what’s the secret plugin???
its the clickbait. it got you to give a view
Awesome song bro. If you ever find your way back to this project for a video, I'd love to see more about the first verse and in general kind of the tools you use to differentiate verses from the chorus and handle the change in energy.
Your music honestly makes me want to learn how to produce music, but I don't even know where to start
get a DAW (digital audio workstation) & then follow some stuff on RUclips on how to get the sounds you want for your style of music.. Then make a billion loops that go no where over a couple of years all while learning. then you will start being able to get a track together. it can take up to a year to learn the DAW so you are no longer thinking about what to do & you just use it.. at that point you will start getting creative & start making music! You may be a fast learner so then... until you do it you won't know. what ever you do pick a DAW & stay with that DAW!!!!!!! learn it!
I appreciate the video man and showing us more in depth how you go about making all of those elements work together!
You are a wizard, you literally can do anything with music, it's like a plain clay that you create a masterpieces with, I don't understand anything going on in these programs but I love listening to you explaining all this stuff. It's amazing
That is so kind thank you!!!!!
I love all the content! I'd like to suggest an in depth video on your guitar layering/tone choosing. You've explained it throughout your videos, but I think it would be cool to have a dedicated video all about guitars and really going into the thought process behind every detail, showing each individual layer, why you played each part the way you did, how they harmonically combine, what guitar and pickup you chose for certain parts, and just stuff like that. I really appreciate all of your videos!
GREAT IDEA!!!! I’ll definitely make a video like that for ya! Appreciate the comment!
@@gusross Thanks!
great video... keep them coming! Thank you!!!
Now I'm obsessed with something that doesn't really exist yet thank you😭❤️
Honestly, I think you are not only great and talented artist but also extremely generous one. You are sharing the tips, teaching tricks about producing music instead of keeping it for yourself. It warms my hear watching these videos where you just show how the song was made from producer's point of view even though I can't understand shit😂 The song is great, It Caught (😅) my heart after first notes
amazing content, glad i found this
Thank you! Happy to have ya
Super cool to see one of my favorite songs broken down like this. Thanks, Gus! 🔥
so much compressoring it makes me feel like an neutron star
neutron stars sound chunky tho
I did enjoy it Gus. I don't know why I resist trying to remake stuff though. Everyone says it's a good way to learn.
The BEST WAY!!! Go for it!
Really nice video and tips
Thanks so much appreciate it
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
🔥🔥🔥
Cheers
Thank you!!!!!Great
thanks for the comment!
Love the videos man. They really help me out as I am striving to become the best producer I can be.
great to hear - go for it!
then use your ears and use less gear and plug ins. that isn't the game.
Solid. Sounds good
thank you!
What do you normally use for guitar tones? Sick stuff man!
Hi thank you! Honestly a mix of things - normally using a Kemper first and foremost (Feldman & Cervini have a sick pack that I recommend buying) but then have a channel strip saved where we use virtual mix rack from Steven slate and anything to get rid of unnessary mud (3-500hz) & the harshness around 2-4k (normally ProQ 3 in dynamic mode) hope that helps always here for questions!
Thank you for creating these videos! It‘s so interesting to hear all the individual layers dissected and to learn about the thought process behind it. Would love to see a more in-depth video about your drum programming / processing and what you do to your electric guitars to get them to sound this big. Big fan of your work, keep it up!
Hi! Absolutely - thanks for the specifics! Will get into this, appreciate you listening to our music!!!
do you also use a hardware preamp? i'm about the purchase the Neve 5211
yeah got a couple 1073's absolutely LOVE THEM!!!
A tips for you: If you use the native power on/off (or bypass) button for all UAD-plugins you will not get the glitches when A/B-ing before and after with those plugins.
iconic
Dead to me kicks ass. Reminds me of state champs. Amazing song. Thanks for the breakdown
appreciate the comment mate!
I don't care about technicalities at all but thank good i stumbled upon this video. This song is fire
hey man thanks for being here really appreciate it!
Did you only use the doubler on the lead vocal?
hi man! yea exactly! only on the lead to blend it a little bit more into the track in general. sometimes i pull back the send to the doubler a bit if it's a more intimate moment in the tune but i absolutely love that plugin and have it available at all times!!!
@@gusross Thank you so much man!🤍
@@alphasupreme7167 you're welcome!
I love this part of the track! 7:40

I've got to thank Chrissy for pointing me this way, maybe I'll get into your band too
love to hear it
Thank you so much for these videos, Gus. Somehow you’re able to explain everything so simply that even people outside the industry can understand what you’re talking about and learn something new.
My pleasure!
This entire video is so much of why I’m always in awe of you guys and feel incredibly lucky to both work with you and also call you friends. Your perspective is so refreshing but your drive is unparalleled. You guys are wildly humble while being ridiculously talented. You became my favorite band for the music, but it’s been cemented for life for this mindset ♥️
thank you legend you're too kind
Great points! I love no2, actually makes sense and come to think of it has worked for me before and no3 is killer ;P!! Thank youu ✍🙌
