I agree with everything you said here! I am disappointed that it isn’t 200 feet but the layout looks great. Barrel roll is looking hype. I don’t understand why most enthusiasts hate this. They won’t be happy until we get a giga.

this looks like a nice ride and i think im going to enjoy it. and im no coaster enthusiast but being a veteran and six flags having discounts online for me im gonna buy their gold pass and all parks pass to ride this as many times and take a week trip to cedar point. and i watched one guys video who called six flags great america coasters all supporting coasters but what i think he missed is that if you pack a park full of supporting coasters you get a good park. because 1 amazing with the rest supporting, theres always a long line on the popular ride and you may never get on it in a visit without spending crazy money for the visit. here theres something for everyone to the point its hard to ride every coaster in one day. which recently having been able to fit on rides only part way in my weight loss journey, i was still able to enjoy an 8ish hour day at the park getting on quite a few rides. this one might scare me but if they get the same restraints as xflight has then im going to enjoy it as my acrophobia felt very very safe on that ride with those restraints. i know some coaster heads they want all sorts of freedom on the ride but someone like me enjoys feeling locked in for the ride. so i want the seats to be exactley like in the renders. because i will feel safe in those so i can enjoy the ride more. raging bull lap bar scared the hell out of me because i felt to exposed on it. so im looking forward to this ride opening. and enjoying my first ever season pass at a park.

I agree we needed a people mover or family coaster, but another B&M inversion coaster are all the other people movers in the park except Raging Bull which is 25 years old. It does look to be an awesome layout if it’s not too rough. I a tiny bit worried that when the speed keeps going up on the mini dives the shimmy/roughness is going to continue because it’s a different size track to the full size.

Six flags great america is getting too crowded with rollercoasters

Honestly I've only seen one or two thoozie hissyfits about this one. Maxxforce and joker, the last two coaster addictions, have shit capacity, and Goliath ain't exactly a people eater either. Capacity was a need and they addressed it super well.

Nice breakdown! I completely agree that this will be great for the park. I'm holding off judgement on whether or not this is the best dive coaster, but this certainly looks to be the best dive coaster *layout* - in my opinion this one is not just a one trick pony, as most people call other dive coasters. It's really impressive how they managed to fit it in the space, and I hope that they can develop the theming further. In the press conference, they talked about having a themed station at least, so let's see how that goes. I'm really excited to ride this in 2025!

Eagle is not just a massive mine train. I rode my first mine train, Cedar Creek Mine Ride and it is the complete opposite of Eagle. For one, mine trains have no main drop what-so-ever and Cedar Creek is easily the worst coaster I have been on where as Eagle is my favorite woodie.

I was waiting in line to ride the ride I was in the seat it’s was locked 🔒 not enough for them I had to get off the ride always next time 😊I was sad not riding it 😢
