Ok I just bought these to install some shelves in my new shed. I have zero carpentry skills. If I ever opine on carpentry either laugh hysterically or go running off into the night. Anyway, with these hard stuff is built in. All you need to do is level the brackets and keep it level while you drill them into place. 6 pieces is enough for 3 shorter shelves. A carpenter could do this himself…but for the rest of us this is really easy and much cheaper than buying prebuilt stuff at Home Depot. I highly recommend this product for the carpentry challenged like me.

Can this devices be used on metal studs in a metal building

You should use the handle on the backpack so the straps don’t get worn out

Shelves should be notched to fit against wall board. Everything will fall through the gap that's left open.

Good question. The device ply is 3/8" think. I think 1 1/4" bostich staples would work fine. Have not done it so I am reluctant to encourage that but a knowledgeable carpenter should be ok doing it. Tim

Can you use an air nailer? I have access, and I think it would be easier.

If you review the video you will see that the Stihl brand blower worked fine w the hose attached.

Do you detach the blowing tube and handle throttle control each time?

Where can we get these

You can put a 1x4 behind it to fill in the gap. And the corners require a bit more work if you don’t want any fall thru gaps. A cleat will be needed in the corner for the bracket to attach to. At least that was the case for me. But, your system is effective and quicker than any other way I’ve seen.
