srb2: veph speedruns on dsz 1 & 2 (he's broken)
veph the dolphin-fox is an interesting new character that's apparently been in development for 4 years. his flow is kinda weird and there are certain things (like getting out of "dolphin mode") that just haven't clicked with me yet, but once you get used to him you can end up destroying levels. i'm not a huge fan of characters with this many tools, but i can't deny that finishing these runs gave me a pretty big rush of dopamine.

i can't believe trans women can wavedash vivian is a wonderful mod with really good flow and, pun aside, stylish visuals. as of v1.2, she can reach incredible speeds (over 1.5x spindash speed in 4 jumps) and i figured i'd show that off in a run in case she gets toned down in the future (which would be nice, speed is fun but it feels overblown atm). i've been having a blast with the mod, so down...

i'm currently routing subarashii and the way i'm doing it is by getting emblems from every level optimally, then i'll cherry pick which levels have the fastest emblem times. this route came as a result from it and i thought it was pretty slick so here we are. diamond emblem is completely missing from this route, and that's because it causes a whopping 28 second detour so i think it's pretty saf...

deep sea 2's spade emblem is out in the middle of nowhere, on the other side of the level from all the others. it takes an entire minute to get to on good pace. likewise, the ring emblem is difficult to fit into routes because there's no easy attraction shield in the level so you have to be really picky about which rings to pick up. this is a mockup that collects the two most problematic emblem...
