In your button tree skirt, you said row 7 was 5 DC. Row 6 is the slat flo each st. Don't understand going from 2 dcflo, 1 dcflo, 1 dcflo to 5 dcflo. Don't understand why jump from 2 dc to 5 DC.

I have never done tapestry crochet before even though I have crocheted and knit for 50(!) years. So I almost cried when my very bright orange yarn was SO visible being carried with the white yarn. But then I found YOUR post - and I am smiling again!

This is fair isle, not tapestry technique.

I just warn people I'm not teaching them properly. 😂 My Grams had no clue how i successfully made anything. But it works and now my boys learned my weird habits
