First off, I would not address them as sir. I would address them as sergeant. I would not have, or would never address someone as a rank that they didn't earn. If you are an officer, then you went to college or you worked your ass off to go from enlisted rank to officer rank and earned that distinction. Just like I wouldn't call an officer sergeant. That's why they have ranks. Each rank weather it be Enlisted or Officer, comes with its own accomplishments.

I wouldn't last one second in the marine core due to my lack of ability to understand things clearly the 1st time mainly bc how fast he telling to do something but brearly speaking the words right

These parent nights are corney as fuck hahaha. I saw a video of one of these where it showed the audience for a couple seconds and man some of those parents had the most crooked faces and furrowed eye brows prolly thinking to them selves "what the fuck are these idiots doing? I can't believe this is what my kid is gonna do." Hahaha I get trying to include the parents and try to expose them to the world their child is so enthusiastic about but God damn these parent night drill instructor gatherings seem counter productive. Straight toxic to the mind of a parent who never served. Mothers of America eat this shit up 🤣🤣🤣

The weak and sniveling snowflakes today would not get through day one of any of the branches Basic Training. Marines are hard, but so are the other branches. Every 18 year old should go through military basic training to teach them values, respect and to have dignity for themselves and all others. The difference is 99% of those who are, or have served is we do not steal, lie or cheat, we have integrity instilled from our parents and those charged with conducting basic military training!!!
