personally I thought sans would be a lab assistant at most, therefore is incapable of making something like the Core or the broken machine in the basement. I actually wouldn't doubt he tried to repair the basement machine but failed so much he gave up and keeps it as a reminder of the past.

Second of all:I(Am autistic person that has a deep, large, BIG hyperfocus on Undertale and can't stop yapping about it) and my other two friends who are also autistic also like the game, this game does really attract neurodivergent people like a lamp attracts a moth.(OR, MAYBE, this was Toby Fox plan all along! He made a game that any neurotypical who plays it becomes neurodivergent!!! Me and my other two friends played the game before we knew we we're autistic, THIS IS ALL TOBY FOX'S FAULT!!! /J) Third of all:This is more of a personal experience to me. I discovered Undertale and hyperfixated on it waaaaaaay before i got an official autism diagnosis(And before i discovered i was an LGBTQIA+ person) so i think this is why this game reasonated so much with me, i saw my self in each of those characters, they we're like me and that was fine. For once, it wasn't a problem, for once i found something i could relate to, for once i found comfort in being myself. Four of all:Seeing all the theories, fun events, fangames, fancomics and AUs really tickles a neurodivergent people brain in a way that cannot be explained. Fifth of all:What the heck do you mean it's not very neurotypical to spend your night seeing stories of random AUs or keep replaying Undertale Yellow's OST again, and again and again? This is clearly a totally a common neurotypical behavior! All neurotypicals do that!!! /J

1:18 frisk and chara are the characters that are the closest to the player you name chara at the start of the game and chara is the narrator throughout and you control frisk through the whole thing chara and frisk are left ambiguous in order for you to identify with them however you want if you think they're female there are if you think they're male they are they don't have a canon gender so that the player can identify with them they are not non-binary they can be but that's on a person by person basis but if your talking canon gender they don't have one i see them as girls and i would be right if you see them as something else your also right but there gender isn't fixed to 1 thing it isn't specified to be anything stop looking for representation where there is none

To be fair to Undyne, Papyrus is such a nice and naive guy. He was literally willing to stand in front of her door from midnight all the way until morning to prove how dedicated he is on joining the royal guard, how do you go about telling him that he doesn't have what it takes? No matter what you say it would be soul crushing so I don't blame Undyne for not wanting to bring it up and instead trying to help him develop other skills that could help him later in life. As for Chara of course they're not an evil demon child. People like to protray them as an evil killer who enjoys mindlessly killing everything. Conveniently forgetting or ignoring the fact that they are one of the only characters in Undertale who call you out for your actions and openly expresses that they don't understand you wanting to kill things just for fun. Essentially everything that Chara openly shows disapproval for is something that the Fandom has projected on to Chara and ever since then Chara has been the one to take the blame for the Genocide Run even when it doesn't make any sense.
