I did find it by mistake for those who have not figured it out, you hold the lock button on the controller while powering up the controller, then while its still flashing you hurry up and plug the battery into the drone and it syncs right up! these guys doing these reviews of it really should tell everyone how to do it so that those are not lost! lol
