Welcome fellow wanderers! We are Chris and Brandi - empty nest GenXers. We wander around traveling, RVing and we love to hike! Our current home base is the Florida Keys to be close to family and we just bought a piece of land in the NW corner of Arizona to start a retirement homestead. Exciting things to come for us and we hope you join our wandered off journey.

Bradenton, FL - historic hotel tour - Hampton Inn
This hotel was built in 1926 as the Manatee River hotel and operated as such until 1966. This building has quite a bit of history but became the Hampton Inn in 2013. A lot of the original relics remain as we walk though this hotel and we provide a full king room tour as well.

Conch Train - Touring historic Old Town Key West

We took the Conch Tour Train around historic Old Town Key West. The tour lasted just over an hour with an informative guide. Great way to see the island if you do not want to walk that far. how much was it to fill up the golf cart tank with gas?
@@BlessedLife291 I believe the gas tank was 5 gallons and gas was $6 a gallon. We filled up twice during the week. But we drove around a lot.
I went there and I did it it was so fun and scary since I’m still a minor!!

I've been looking for land. Lots of Land in AZ and NM for cheap. Hope things work out for you. I'll be out there soon too! Can't wait.
@@CarlNelson-tz3vb we looked in NM but most counties in the northern part have too many restrictions.
The scenery at Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures on Lake Toho in central Florida is stunning! Seeing the airboat tour there makes me want to go on a trip there too if I get the chance! In particular, the sight of passing through the lotus complex was spectacular, and the area where the crocodiles were also worth seeing, so it was cool and I was envious! And I came across your comment on my RUclips friend's 'Campsite Cruising' channel, and it's a really cool channel.

did you take them to the municipal sewage settling ponds., near bye......that creates that wonderful scent...when the wind is from the south-east....?
@@spmqqse5621 We didn’t smell anything thankfully during our trip but the night we lost power and there was zero noise from AC.. we could hear machines running late at night and we figured it was from the sewage ponds.
The strangest bug I’ve ever seen… lol we Must have spent 15 min trying figure out what is was… I’m still not convinced it wasn’t an alien 👽 😂

Enjoyed your vide, thanks! We are members of Vidanta and will got Riviera Maya for the first time in 5 days. We have been to the one in Nuevo Vallarta 4 times. We have a RUclips travel channel, Travels With Joe and Ely if you wish to see videos of that location but we also have videos from many other destinations, especially Europe.

I got to surf with Jimmy Buffett and his family several times here in Maui. I first listened to Jimmy buffet growing up in South Florida and playing his music as a musician myself. He was a really cool dude. And hearing his music makes me miss him and south Florida and the Florida keys. A real pirate but the good kind.🎸🏄♂️

Hilton Rose Hall. Montego Bay Area. All inclusive. I have a full video on my channel of the resort.
Great informative video. Good to know it can be walked in a few hours. Would you recommend scheduling return ferry right away or wait to see how the day goes?
Caye Caulker is a place we’d definitely visit again! We bought our tickets online for specific times (last time slot going back) but were able to hop an earlier taxi. It depends how full they are I think. Slightly cheaper to buy in person.

We definitely plan to go back and stay on the mainland. Secret Beach is a tourist trap and way too expensive! Agree. NYC prices.

@@WanderedOff we actually just bought property on Secret Beach and I have whole lot of hotel points so we decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. We hope to start building around November of next year

Never flew into Key West nice view. You should drive down to key west very relaxing. Great views Atlantic Ocean on one side Gulf of Mexico on the other. Seven mile bridge. Cant beat the overseas highway. Long live the Conch Republic. RIP JB
