Highlighting my favorite dahlia so far
That is so cool!
Wow! I can't believe he/she let you get that close!
I know, right?!? I wish I’d been filming in slow motion when she took off, but it seems like the video quality isn’t quite as good in the setting. I love it when the hawks come to visit!
Heheheh love it. All honey bees that you see working on the flowers though are all females. Males are called drones and they dont work. Girl power!!
Missing that amazing fall! 😢
@@keribright6276 oh! I was just wondering yesterday what fall was like there. I’m sorry it’s disappointing. You’ll have to come visit next fall!!
Spray them with vinegar or water?
@@RoseTheBeautifulFlower what percentage of vinegar would you use? Does that kill them or just wash them off? Thanks!
It is my first time on your channel and I have just subscribed. Beautiful garden. Thank you so much for sharing. Keep up the good work. All the best on this journey
Cousins? 😂
@@keribright6276 lol!
We all need to take a break once in a while! 😂
All these bees in your flowers....I think you should try beekeeping! 😁
@@keribright6276 we that’s an idea! It was just crazy to see how they’ve all been out. We had 2 weeks or 10 days of rain and then it seemed like they were making up for that time. But today it’s been chilly and I was wondering if they are more active just before they need to stay inside their hive for winter. There’s definitely a lot to learn!
@JanesHope if you do decide to be keep, you should talk to frank & Susan b. Plus, I think the county has some program. 😉
Perfect song choice! 😂
@@keribright6276 ha! I felt the same way but was laughing at it, wondering if I was being silly. I feel like I need to collect more songs that seem appropriate for videos like this. I would never have imagined I’d be doing such a thing. lol!
He's been working hard! 😴
@@keribright6276 lol!
Nope. You're going to want to wait for them to dry a little longer if you are collecting the seeds.
@@kneadinghands you don’t think these will be viable? Do you have tricks for catching them at the right time to keep them from spreading everywhere but also to be able to share the seeds?
🎉 Happy Birthday Mercy! ❤
😍 That is gorgeous!! What are the white and pink "fluffy", long flowers? I bought a bouquet from the farmers market last week that had the long pink flowers last weekend.
@@keribright6276 it’s celosia. This is the first year I’ve grown it.
I love everything about this!
ami the only one trying to find out who’s talking anyways love the vid
@@ladiesandgentelmenwegothim lol! I did show my face on this video!
❤❤❤work
Thats a Great idea!
😊😊❤❤LOVE WATERMELON😊LOOKS GREAT YUMMY
ohn likes your beautiful flowers❤❤👍👍👍
John likes your beautiful flowers❤❤👍👍👍
Very cool thanks
Thanks for showing the seed pods i also find it fascinating how plants propagate
@@hopefulhearted I’m glad you enjoyed! It’s funny because I have such an obsession with collecting the seeds but I know some people have never even seen them. And I hadn’t ever noticed them until a few years ago. I love how there’s so much to learn!
@@JanesHope collecting seeds is a great thing to do, and i too love learning new things all the time
How cool!
I love that!
I can smell this video!
@@keribright6276 love that!
In case you didn't know. Do NOT put those shells in your garden. They will kill your plants. I must have eaten 1000 pounds of those when I was a kid. Lol
@@MrGusto-ch3wc thanks for the tip! I put them in an area where I’m not growing anything. I knew there was some chemical in some part of the walnuts that inhibited other plant growth. I appreciate you letting me know! I think I’m going to have about 1/4 pound when I’m done processing these 🤣 but it’s a start! Do you have any tips for processing??
Gorgeous! ❤
Lovely flowers. 👍 My support for your new channel. 😊
@@Myrtuscommunis thanks!! 🤗
Yikes!!!
Love the lavender! I'm amazed you can keep this all straight in your head! I wouldn't remember what I planted! 😂
@@keribright6276 ha! You would. They’re like my babies. 🤣
There’s plant id apps that are pretty handy
I definitely need to use that more. It was in a tricky place for me to get to but I should obviously make that effort so I don’t end up like this again! It took over a half hour to get the stickers out of my hair and my gloves and shirt are still a mess!
We called them stick tights and they grew wild in the fields along with sandburrs.
Dont know what that is, but you should get rid of it
That’s how I got it all on me. I know what the babies look like now, so hopefully next season, I will get them out when they’re small!
Oh no!
Beautiful 😍😍
I've always wanted to see one of these in person but never have!
According to Wikipedia, their host plants are: white birch (Betula papyrifera), American persimmon (Diospyros virginiana) American sweet gum (Liquidambar styraciflua), plus several species of hickory (Carya), walnut (Juglans) and sumac (Rhus) Don’t know if any of those are native to your area, but you could try planting some and see if the moths eventually turn up!
That couldn’t have been a great pick with a single sling? Very imbalanced.
It was very imbalanced! But they brought it down carefully and took care of it. I have no idea about any of this, but it was exciting to watch.
❤❤❤
Cute! 🌻
❤
Those are sooooo pretty!
I’m hoping for buckets full to share this year! Do you remember when I brought some last year to Titus? They make me so happy!
@JanesHope I remember the flowers you gave me but didn't remember they were these! 🤦♀️
😍 wow! Beautiful!
I can’t believe how fast its wings move even in slow motion!
Beautiful 😍 🤩
Keep the tops nipped and your basil will not bolt.
Yeah! I cut these tops right after taking the video. I used a lot of it on fresh pizza but left a few stems in water and they’ve rooted! It’s probably too hot to put them back outside yet, but it’s exciting!
Thank you! It's a pretty pink one!
❤❤❤❤
So cool
@@CayllumOtero plants are so fascinating!
That is so cool!
Right?!
I forgot to highlight it in this week’s video. I’m going to give it its own video real quick now. Spoiler: it got munched! 😢
