    It's a real heartbreaker, more so for those players. They were a dynasty that couldn't quite close it out. I can still remember the line up for the most part. Great memories tho

    I also remember watching every one of these moments live - god I'm old lol. "How old were you when you graduated high school?" The nephews ask. "I was Jim Thome weighed 190 lbs old when I graduated high school," I reply.

    I still LOVE that Pena all in one motion bat fling after he crushed that walk-off homer.

    What made these moments was the crowd noise and commentary. The music is not necessary.

      Man I know, like I said in the pinned comment I apologize for it. 15 year old me just really liked that song at the time lol. If I could remake it I'd remove but my original edit is long lost so it is what it is at this point. It really only affects the last couple but there are links to every individual video in the description so you can have at em with full sound.

    Suicide Squeeze Speed Demon Kenny Lofton .

    • @joe6096
      @joe6096 3 месяца назад

      That was Marquis Grissolm who scored from third on the botched squeeze. The Indians traded Kenny Lofton to Atlanta after the 1996 season for Grissolm and David Justice. Lofton was the center fielder for the Braves in '96, and he said many times he was glued to the TV while the Indians made the run in '97 because the Braves lost in the NL Division series that year. He would re-sign with Cleveland for the 1998 season and remain with the club through 2002. Then come back at the end of the 2007 season.

    NOTE: links to every individual clip without music are in the description! I haven't looked at this video's page in quite a while but I noticed a lot of comments about the music - I apologize for anyone who doesn't like it and for having it drown out the announcers on the last couple clips. I know highlights are usually better without music. I'd honestly upload an alternative version without it but I made this quite awhile ago and don't think I even have the original anymore. Links to all the full clips are also in the description, so if you click on those you can watch every one with full sound and no music. Thank you and for anyone who watches, all I ask is please don't be too hard on my younger self for adding in a song I liked at the time :)

    it was a dame shame the Indians with all that talent could not bring home a championship and to come so close in 2016 was also heartbreaking .

    My favorite Cleveland sports moments: 1. Jose Mesa giving up the tying run in the bottom of the 9th in game 7 of the 1997 WS which eventually led to Florida winning 2. J.R. Smith taking off with the ball after a missed FT 3. Ernest Byner fumbling on the 1
