I just read that Iceland will be the first country in the world to completely BAN the. PSA TEST, order all PSA testing equipment on the island destroyed and ban all material used to use or run a PSA test. Thank you Iceland. The bill will be signed by Guðni Th. I just got finished reading about the kickback scandal that involved Karsten Randolph--your former CFO. I'm so disappointed that he was involved in this since he's married to a relative of mine. As Adventists we are supposed to be law abiding in every area of their lives but instead of him getting jail time---which he should of, he was promoted and given a raise. That's the way the Adventist Church deals with this kind of thing--they just sweep it under the rug. The former CFO of Hinsdale Hospital invested the hospitals money in junk bonds and lost it all. But instead of charging this man with a crime, they promoted him, gave him a raise and sent him out to a hospital in Oregon or Washington State. His "investment" lost the hospital all of the property it owned around the hospital-including employee housing but also resulted in employees who were in a hare's breath of retiring and collecting a pension to lose everything they worked their entire lives for. The hospital then had to take government funding which forced them to do routine tests on Sabbath, serve meat in the cafeteria and forced the hospital to hire a majority of non-Adventist employees. It's no wonder that young people are leaving the church at record highs. We're supposed to follow the Lord but instead we sweep our sins under the rug and hope nobody notices.

There is no informed consent to the PSA in the US. This test is practically forced on all US men over 50. Doctors don’t pay any attention to the guidelines. I’ve had to fire doctors over this, refuse to have any blood drawn for any reason because of this, and threaten doctors with lawsuits if they ran a PSA Test on me just to stop it from happening. This is immoral, unethical, unjust and illegal in all 50 States in the US. Yet doctors who think they are Gods just ignore mens choices and ignore the law. Don’t let them get away with this outrage!! Sue them!!! Report them to the local District Attorney’s Office for investigation and arrest. I never had a PSA Test and I never will and I’m 63.

This is a joke!!! I know a family who were hurt by some of the staff from Lee Ann Briain Infant Center IDC/SMMC!!! They refused to help this child to the restroom. The would stick this child in a chair that the child could not get out of. The ignored this child's need to use the toilet!!! That is not the worst that occurred !!!!!!! The family I know are good people and they and their child did not deserve the hurt and pain that some of the staff at Lee Ann Britain Infant Center put on them!!!

I find it funny that SMMC promotes "Spiritual Wellness." I know a family who was so hurt by the actions taken by some of the staff at SMMC/IDC. I would hope most of SMMC staff are good, but I hurt for the family that was, as I could be decribed as, "bullied" by this team. The family I know was hurt and continue to feel the pain that was thrown on them. I hope Mr. Stoddart will start training these people to be kind to all!!

This family did make known of the problems, only to be shoved away. W/ the Penn State issue in the news this last week, why did so many people give support and so few came forward. Some wanted to keep jobs. Some wanted to keep PSU in a good light. I would guess, there are some that was scared of how PSU and others would go after them. This family was hurt by IDC, but do you really think the Patient Advocare would help,NO! They billing was then messed with--I feel the IRS should look into IDC!
