I figured for sure this was going to be the Cincinnati Rail Tie stuff, I had never heard any of these versions of these songs before.

Other highlights from the TGA album "Get Hurt" are Stay Vicious (actually my favorite song on the album), Stray Paper, Helter Skeleton and the beautiful ballad Break Your Heart.

I still remember the night I first discovered The Gaslight Anthem and their first 2 records. Right after The '59 Sound was released. It was absolutely life changing. Here were these awesome guys from my home state singing about exactly what I was going through, Brian sneaking lyrics from so many great artists into their songs. To say I was blown away was an understatement. There was nothing but those records on repeat that night and for probably months after. And every song since from them and any other project they've beautifully created has been the same. Thank you for all the amazing stuff you post.

I find Brian Fallon often struggles to find the right key when doing slowed down solo acoustic versions. This is definitely one of his better versions. He's a more effective vocalist when belting songs out IMO.
