My PSA is 3.58, my Glasgow score 3+3=6 I’m 51 years old.. family nurse practitioner Your explanation was very clear and precise
keep the faith, PSA's are very confusing, there are men with 10 psa that are negative, eat healthly B strong. 🙏
Thank you for this video, Dr. Helpful even 3 years later. It has led me to ask whether I need supplemental MRIs. Am facing follow-up tests as we speak and it is stressful.
I have HPV+ squamous cell cancer at 63 years old. Is it possible that I can pass the HPV virus to someone else.
Good question !
My husband is 77 and was recently diagnosed. His ENT and the medical oncologist both said the virus itself is dead. It’s kinda like chickenpox which hides and then comes out as shingles. This virus seems to behave in a similar manner. Both doctors indicate it’s been hiding for more than 50 years and now reveals itself as cancer. Hope this helps
Yes
Hi. How you doing now? I've just been diagnosed with the same thing.
@@soo3917sir where you hve the cancer.
I very much appreciate this video. i was just recently diagnosed with prostate cancer . My doctor recommends treatment but after watching this I'm not sure; I"M a 3+4=7 T2a . I would like a second opinion feeling real stressed don't want to undermine my doctor but I just don't KNOW . Is it possible for you to help me understand why he would recommend treatment based on my partin table I'm only 51
I have/had gleason 3+4 here in Cork, Ireland. Have done the radiotherapy and now on monthly ADT for two years. Side ceffects are horrendous particularly the sore abdomen after the monthly injection. I have had 8 jabs.....would it be risky to stop the jabs? Prior to treatment, psa was 32,now its .0045.....so cancer is gone, right?
Hi , I had the monthly injection, terrible!! Try the one you get every six months! Same thing with no pain at the injection site !
PSA 438, Gleason 4+5, Mets to 3 pelvic lymph nodes and one place on spine I have not lost hope received radiation & ADT I did not know anything was wrong until my spine started to hurt I have not lost hope
@@michaeledwards4169my husband has same score as you, being treated with hormones and followed by radiation, he got his first hormone shot two days ago, they found three pelvic lymph nodes with pet scan, but no where else in the body… How are you holding up, I wish you well
😢my son died of prostate cancer at 56
My heartfelt prayers to you, Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. 🕊🙏
MRI's Highly false positive!! Leads to unnecessary biopsies👍🤔👍
And what about that procedure where they implant radioactive seeds directly in the tumor???
Does a patient have the right to ask for general anesthesia for a prostate biopsy? I’ve researched this procedure many times and found out when a doctor says “you may feel some discomfort “ it usually means it’s gonna be quite painful and for people with severe anxiety problems like me nobody’s gonna stick a 13 gauge needle into my rectum then into my prostate and stick u 13 times to get various samples of prostate tissue. I’ll jump off the table. I don’t care what the insurance company says. It’s my body. I would need general anesthesia and it can be done with a local or general. I can deal with the side effects after but not that kind of pain. Numbing the area with lidocaine does nothing. Urologist use that for cystoscopy too and that’s still very uncomfortable. Any thoughts doctor??
Good info! Here is a prostate cancer I just published: ruclips.net/video/dn-1E7NJTtk/видео.html
What worsen Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the fact that you don't know if there is a cure yet, I got cured from my HPV after using DR ALAHO OLU herbs. You can get more information by contacting DR ALAHO OLU on RUclips Channel………..

Kill the music! it's not necessary.
Music sucks too hard to hear! Don't you know your audience! most people my age can't hear good!
Everyone under 50, please get your HPV vaccine. It can prevent oral, throat, cervical, and anal cancers---and probably more. It's beginning to look like ALL squamous cell cancers, including squamous cell skin cancers, are most likely caused by HPV (which is the wart virus).
Why. can't we do an oral, and throat, HPV test, the same way that we can do cervical and anal HPV test?
perfect information I have had so far .thank you sooo much doctor
Very informative
Thank you Doc for the good explaination. I live in Sweden and tomorrow is the time I will get the answere if I have pc.😢 I havn't diagnosed it but the feeling is already killing me. At the beggining my psa is 3.8 and I am 62 yr old this yr. According to my mri they found 2 tumor in my prostate and one abnormal in my bone. My big question is that if I have pc did spread already in my bone how come? I have only have 3.8 psa? Maybe those question will be answere by my urologist tomorrow. Its like feel I have this shit in my system because my dad died from it one causin and one survived. Once again thank you!
the best way to know if it is spread out is to d PSMA , PET/CT

Im 78 yo with stage 4-5 aggressive cancer. This was a very informative video. Thank you.
Best explanation of prostate cancer on RUclips. Very helpful Doc:)
my psa is 18 , and i have to wait 3 months to see the cancer doctor . if over 10 gives you 50/50 chance , im assuming 18 would be around 80 percent chance you have cancer ? not that im worried , i already have heart disease and only 23 heart left and a defibrillator . so its not like it matters much lol .
But why you had to wait 3 months to see the doctor
@@Delani11 because theyre so booked out
Thank you, Doctor...this is so clearly presented and informative.

I started intermittent fasting and keto low carb in February, on 01.08.22 My bloods showed I was no longer a type 2 diabetic. HbA1c was 40mmols. It works to lower insulin resistance, or it has for me.
My husband had a psi blood test it was 171.0. He is going for a biopsy soon. What are his chances of it being cancer
How is your husband now? Was it cancer? Hopefully it wasn't ❤️❤️❤️
