In 1984 I drove through West Hartford on my way to work at Radio Station WDRC to get to Bloomfield…I would bypass the fly over in Hartford. It was a great ride through that beautiful town. I was driving from Watertown, near Waterbury…by the way, WDRC was a great place to work when Buckley own it back in the day…

We moved from Watertown Connecticut to Daytona Beach FL..10 years ago..I wish we hadn’t…miss home..we grew up in Waterbury, we were married in Waterbury at St Joseph’s Church in 1972..miss home..Florida will Never be home..our son worked in Meriden and we shopped the Meridian Mall many, many times…Hubbard Park, we still have many photos that we took in that beautiful park…

First street you turned up was Deerfield Ave. Tornado killed our neighbor there in 1962. My dad found him crushed under a tree in his back yard.

You saw a good part of it, but missed Federal Road (you went past it around 3 minutes into the video). That is a huge road with a very large, modern business district. Almost all the car dealerships are on the road, Stew Lenoard's, Home Depot, banks, you name it. Besides that you gave a pretty good overview of the city. Good job!

I wonder how this place was affected by the destructive flood in August 2024 in Southbury and Oxford, CT?

I have been to every area in this video. I have a mental map of the town. So I can reach those areas with my bike. My favorite part of Milford has got to be The beach near my home. It’s close to the Audubon Society.

As I was watching this beautiful scenery 😍 there was an ad on the lower half of my screen, a very ugly photo of a car dealer in Fla near where I live with palm trees & harsh sunlight. I got a side by side comparison of the 2 places I've lived & Ct is clearly more beautiful.
