For anyone wondering if this works when upgrading from iOS/iPadOS 17 to 18 (I have an iPad 10th Gen) - yes, it does for me. No configuration setup should pop up during the process. I have my own MDM profile on the device, but I’m not sure if that affects anything. You can sign up for something like Jamf Now to get a free MDM profile. Feel free to comment if you have any questions.

Excellent Tutorial and i have just unlocked an ipad air 2 NICE. Thanks a lot *BUT FOR ALL notice, this is a Bypass, NOT a Remover. When you erase the iDevice or choose the reset option, you have to re-do this tutorial again!!!* At 19:13 you see it in the upper left corner of the ipad screen: The company MDM is still displayed. The Bypass only suppresses the MDM profile so its not listed under 'Device Management' anymore. So yes you can work with this, just change Region & Language accordingly and everything is fine. But remember, erase or reset will trigger MDM again 😉

Hello, I want to try this method of removing MDM with an IPOD TOUCH 7 with IOS 15.8.3. I have seen the video but I have a question, the backup file that is used is for an iPad and not for an IPOD. How can I create one for my IPOD Touch? Should I use the one in the video even if it is an IPOD? Thank you

so it worked fine on my ios 17.5.1, and even after reboot/restart the mdm was gone, but after the latest update 17.6.1 i do get to pass the mdm but it wont stay off if you restart /reboot your ipad, it turns back on. Anyone got it working on 17.6.1?

Thank you! At first it didn't work, I found it is because the newest itune form MS doesn't work. After I re-downloaded Itune from 3rd party it worked for me!

works on 17.6 just towards the end, dont connect to wifi and then deactivate and reactivate twice.

OMG, I recenlty restored my iphone X and the MDM only allowed me to see 3 apps (settings, safari and calls). I was about to sell it off at a loss, but this method literally saved me! I honestly can't thank you enough. I can confirm this works on IOS 16.7.10 (iPhone X)
