If labor slows down, one trick I use is to naturally cause an oxytocin release. I do this by getting my hands all gooey with birth goo and then giving her teats and udder a sloppy massage. This can release enough oxytocin to cause her contractions to get much stronger and she will respond with harder pushes. Goats will even do that to themselves. They lick their teats. Watch a good number of goat birthing videos. Usually after a goat licks her udder and teats, she will get more serious about the delivery.

Love your videos. I just started up soaping again. I’m finding my Joy! It’s been 3 years. I just cleaned the dishes and silicones. Everything was in the basement. So l’ve basically been cleaning everything and organizing. Phew 😮‍💨 l’ve had some epic fails that turned around. Just finished 2 loaves of shampoo bars, curing under towels. I think l’ve got 8 loaves and 1 olive oil 9 cube going. I feel like l’m getting back on track and can see the accomplishments. Right? Love your farm. Your soaping is beautiful. I’m doing every bar plain but natural and organic as possible. I’m a butter nut! 😁 The 9 cube block will be a dish soap. 100% olive oil and a long cure. I love doing these soaps for my family.
