Jells Park Fireworks 2023 - Monash Carols by Candlelight [4K]
The last time we saw fireworks at Jells Park was 2019 so it's great to have it come back after this long hiatus. This time it was back with a bang probably due to all the stockpiled fireworks that never went off in previous years with a full 8 minutes of fireworks fun!
Shot on phone: Sony Xperia 1V at 2160p 60FPS
Probably should've switched from rear to stereo priority recording in the settings instead but oh well maybe next time we can compare the sound quality.

This is a moment I will never forget. An F-22 Raptor did a hard 90 degree turn with afterburners right in front of me at the 2019 Australina Avalon Airshow. The thrust was deafening and it shook every cell in my body. My phone microphones can not do it justice. Shame the 2021 Australian Avalon Airshow had to be cancelled and postponed till 2023 due to the c o v i d situation.

You know what I love about the Jells Park Monash Carols by Candlelight Fireworks? The fact that you can stand 30 meters close all the way up to the safety fence. These are very basic maneuvers. Nothing in the West still comes close to the Russian Su-27, Su-35, MiG-29 & Su-57 in terms of maneuverability. As for those saying the other F-22 maneuvering capabilities are classified, come on that's bs. The F-22 has design features that naturally limits its maneuverability, yes it can bruteforce its way through maneuvers because it has very powerful powerplants, but its maneuvers lacks the elegance of the aerodynamically superior Russian equivalents.
Very odd then that NONE of the pilots flying those Russian aircraft have screwed around with a Raptor when the opportunity has presented itself...
