My children loved this on graham crackers when they were little. Making this for my grandkids. ❤I separated the apple butter. Put red hots in one crock pot and left as is the other crock pot. The red hot apple butter wins hands down. Delicious.

Is it 1 cup each of the sugars? or 1/2 cup each of the sugars? The recipe says 1/2 cup each, but in the video you put 1 cup each. Just wanting to clarify.
Hi Chef Jan....thanks for asking about the sugar. I am sure I was using just the half cup as typed of each sugar and mistakenly said one cup instead. Naturally, you can adjust quantities of any items to your liking.

This is most likely not a problem with the bird it can ethier be going through puberty as they get hormonal and can get defensive or you could be making them uncomfortable ethier by talking to loud , getting in their face , or doing other things of the sort . Birds are sensitive to both hearing a movement they are prey in the wild and they see us as predators so if you don't take the time to actually teach it your a friend and keep at that training it won't work birds can take a long time to fully trust you it really depends on if they were hand raised or not but please don't hate every bird has a problem just like any other thing so maybe do your research before buying and learn about these things so you can be prepared and not be angry for a thing that might not even be in their control for all we know it could be your fault ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No,, the crockpot will tenderize the loin as it cooks. That is the nice thing about a slow cooker. Thanks for asking.

How do you cook for seven hours?
If you are familiar with a crockpot, you would know that it cooks very slow allowing you to put your meal in the pot early in the day and let it cook slowly all day without you having to watch it. A crockpot will keep all the juices in the ingredients and actually bring out the best flavors of your meal. I highly recommend using one to free you up in the kitchen. You can cook on high in the crockpot which usually cuts the cooking time in half. I prefer the slow method. I hope this answers your question and thanks for asking.

Yes, if you prefer to cook it a little faster you may put it on high. I usually have all day when I am fixing items for our evening meals so I am in no hurry. Thanks for your question and I do hope you enjoy it.

Momma is the light blue one. The yellow bird is a male and we think the two blue ones are females. Hard to believe they hatched from eggs momma laid not long ago and now are as big as momma herself.
