There are plenty of good records out there today - by good I mean the '90's buzz clip sound you're talking about. The problem is, that sound isn't as fashionable so we have to go digging around for it. I just heard the new single from the Silvesun Pickups today and it sounds great.

No, that's not it at all. If anything, that creates better work; bands in the 60's and 70's put an album out a year. Here's how it works - all these bands' 1st albums are closely watched and controlled, by the label and top-notch producers. Once a band 'makes it' and starts making money, they get more control/clout and are able to call more shots, which is usually a bad thing - producers are there for a reason, but musicians (myself included) do not like taking orders concerning their art.

Brothers...These were the days. What happened to Mtv and music in general. Where have the artists gone, and where's the creativity? I remember when this came out on buzz clip. It stuck in my head for like 15 years! I was never able to find this. What an amazing song, and era. I'm still a young dude and go out often. However, the 90's were the best. Can't we go back?
