You can't be serious!
Got one made in 1968
When I was 23 a Dr cut my spine causing me to be paralyzed from the u neck down. While in Magee rehabilitation hospital my brother in law bought me a Browning A 5 3" magnum 12 ga. Belgium made. The year before he bought one for my father then all of us had Brownings , I was home from hospital one week and my dad drug me in the woods in a wheelchair. We hunted everything and fished when we could . My Brownings32" barrel knocks deer down at eighty yards with 3"#4 buck. She put lots of deer down every year. I feel like you do about my baby I'm 78 now in bad health but my memories you could'nt buy for a million dollars.
Exactly. I wouldn't sell this gun for all the money in China.
I have a 1959 vintage Light 12 that's a really sweet shooter. Bought it used in 1972. People who complain it has too much recoil haven't set friction pieces on the magazine tube properly ;for heavy loads. Also reduces wear and tear on the gun when properly set.
@@lawrencemarocco8197 thank you. This shotgun has sentimental value to it. Never sell it for any price.
I absolutely love your uncles Auto-5! That thing is just getting broken in lol! The patina is perfect. I inherited the exact same gun from my dad when he passed except his was made in 1963 and it's my favorite firearm in my collection. They're PERFECT! Love the video and the passion you have for why your Auto-5 means so much to you.❤
Thank you very much.
Thanks for the food trick I would always train after feeding, without realizing I was possibly taking away his full attention.
Im familiar with these pistols. Where would you find one of these. Yours is in beautiful condition.
I would try gun broker
🙃 *Promo SM*
That's between you and the lord Michael 😂
He says that too stretch.
I hunt there too
Hopefully I will be bringing my new pup down there next year.
@@gunsnhunting3798 awesome. Lab pup? It’s my GSP’s first year. Loves Mason Dixon
Yes a lab pup

24 out of 25 is awesome well done from 🇬🇧
Thank you

I considered Magnum Research BFR in 454 Casull, but instead bought a slightly used Freedom Arms Premier Grade model 83 7 1/2" barrel in 454 Casull with accessory cylinders in 45 Colt, 45 Winchester Magnum and 45 Automatic cartridges. It was a safe queen and fired only 15 times, all for $2700. Which is a steal considering the 3 extra cylinders alone are $1500. The 454 Casull SAAMI pressure is 65,000 PSI, so it's capable of taking any big game animal. The 454 Casull cartridge is a better choice versus the 460 S&W Magnum cartridge, because it's built in lighter revolvers.
Very nice handguns indeed. You shouldn't be disappointed with it. Good luck.
So now I have to watch all the Bond films ! I remeber the ar7 but not the fire ball
Great video Mike.
Thank you Matt m
FYI I own an xp100 in 223 they actually came in 7 different calibers
The Kennedy assassination gun, used for the head shot by James E. Files. Files proved he was the lethal shooter when he told them he left the mercury round shell casing on the scene with his teeth marks in it. The cartridge was found along the fence at the grassy knoll, just where he said it would be.
Absolutely 💯
The BFR Bisley grip is an improved design and makes it better to shoot.
I bought the new rubber grips offered by magnum research and it extends the grip about 1/2 of an inch past the bottom of the frame.
I love my 460V Smith and Wesson X-frame revolver with a five inch muzzle brake equipped barrel that can shoot 454 Casull and weighs just a fraction over 60 ounces.
I had a 460 xvr with the 8 3/8 inch barrel. I liked it but it was very heavy. Once I got my 454 I really didn't shoot it much after that.
What bullet do you recommend for deer in the 454? So many to choose from, it seems like you cant go wrong with any of them. I have 240/300gr Hornady XTPMag, Buffalo Bore 300gr jsp, Underwood 250gr Xtreme Penetrator.
My normal bullet I load for deer is the Hornady 240 gr. Xtp magnum. They aren't terribly expensive and they are accurate in my 454.
One beautiful and extremely powerful Big Bore Wheel Gun. .454 Casull 1,650 FPS=1,125 MPH Excellent scope and mount. Truly a keeper. I'm on the fence between the .454 Casull, .475 Linebaugh/.480 Ruger or the .500JRH? It's for fun range time and backup when fishing and/or camping. I do not reload as supplies are expensive.
Very nice. I have one just like it, but w/o the scope. I replaced the rubber grips with Hogue hardwood finger-groove grips which are more hand-filling. Absolutely top end pressure can actually be near 65,000 (either PSI or CUP - not sure which one) but brass life is drastically reduced. You don't need to load that hot, as lower pressure rounds will still deliver devastating performance.
I had them on but didn't like them. For me I like the magnum research new style rubber grips.
Absolutely sick! Reminds me of the soviet era 'obrez' pistol.
What the velocity on those
Couldn't tell you, I don't have a chronograph.
I crimp as my last step too
I have been using my ruger black hawk bisley 454 with honady 300 xtp
I cant aford a magnum research had to buy The ruger bisly in 454 casull 65000 cup lapua and casull
Shooting 300 grain 1500 fps wicked recoil
Saved up a while for it but worth it.
I waited 11 years for the Beretta ARX 100 and 5 years for the Barrett REC7 6.8SPC II. Patience and determination.Get what you want and do not compromise.
I had one in 6 1/2 barrel sold it , like the caliber alot , just want it in a shorter barrel for a protection gun in places I go hunting or hiking.
I have the 500 Mag in 5.77". Ordering the MR 454 Casull in 6.5"=7" Barrel. Too long and bulky to carry?
I've been desperately searching for those Nosler bullets for my .454 reloads. Have a few of the Barnes, but mainly loading 300gr XTP Mag bullets. Nice video.
Thanks. I'm a rookie at this.
240 g bullet out of 7 1/2 “ = 1750 fps, buy a crony, I know, I own one and it crones at 1750
Excellent to know and the incredible speed/power of the Casull.
Somehow I know I’m going to run into on a game land this season. Were blessed with a lot of good ones in our area of the state. Ill be sure to say hello.
Nice dog work !
Thanks!
Tick, tock, tick, tock...
Great video Mike!
Thanks Matt.
