What strings do you recommend?, I like to play with lots of spin, volleys and aggressive shots

I have not done a deep dive into strings yet, but from personal experience I really enjoy the "Tourna Big Hitter Black 7". I can get a lot of spin from those strings.

Im a 4.0 player and had a hard time hitting with the PA98 for the first time, it’s my 3rd time training with it and man im loving it, it’s honestly harder to play than my pure drive but the PA98 it’s giving me more depth, powerful and controlled shots

I'm glad you reviewed this racket. For many years now the Instinct MP has been a very solid choice. It's basically a larger (100 versus 98) and slightly lighter Head Radical. Relatively dense string pattern and moderately thick beam. Or you could call it a more controllable and lighter Pure Drive. It's not specialized for any particular game style but by the same token does not have any weaknesses. It's what players call "transparent" -- you just get your own game out of it. I bought it for one of my kids and have experimented with playing a set with it at the end of friendly matches. It requires me to swing a little more aggressively than with my usual Ezone 98 but I beat the same people with pretty much the same score. My kids find it far easier to play with than almost any other racket. So, it's a great choice for any non-expert player. If you want the next step up in ease of use and low price point, try the Speed MP Graphene XT or the Radical S Graphene XT--even lighter and cheaper.

great review! I like that you went over the 3 main things, without extra fluff: 1. method of testing 2. all the specs 3. high level recommendations I also like the "fatigue" rating. Definitely not something that everyone out there talks about in racket reviews, to this level of detail.

I got to a pretty solid 3.5 level (based off of external input) in 3 years of playing on average once a week with no lessons or practice sessions with ball machines. In my head I believe that I'll just keep improving at this rate and naturally move up to 4.0 in 6 months or so but maybe I'm fooling myself and I need to get some lessons and ball machine practice time. Also, I do need to join a 3.5 league to really see where I'm at.

Just came across this video, great self awareness and willingness to work hard to improve. Definitely true about forcing yourself to play people at a higher level outside your comfort zone. I’ve had the same problem just playing with friends or players in my league who are 3.5 which don’t challenge me enough

I'd really like to see an analysis like this with the older generation - Laver, Borg, Lendl, Mac etc. I think it would give a greater appreciation of how good these guys were, given the equipment and methods they had.

I moved from the pure drive 2021 to the pure strike vs. The level of control on the psvs is amazing. I found it hard to put the ball where I wanted it to when using the pure drive but with the psvs I'm making my opponents run from side to side cause I can now hit the corners

If you transform the content, you can use videos created by others. Side-by-side analysis with commentary is transformative. Just be careful about play too much at one time. So, don’t play 5 minutes of the USO without a break for commentary. Even the most careful content creators receive copyright strikes because the big media companies can submit a strike easily, but content creators can appeal strikes.
