I don't know, it's so phoney! Are we teaching them just to mask, to pretend? I see they're having a laugh but when they get older they'll just remember how much you were acting? Check out the movie 'Half Nelson'. I'm not saying go above their heads with Aristotle or anything like that but being more true, more genuine. Mutual respect and equality can be fun too and we don't always need to pretend. Actually have fun with it and maybe expand so these are not such basic acts. What about the 1 (or more) kids in that class that feel absolutely terrible because they're facing real life issues at home? They're going to be left out and all they'll get from this is how much they can't be themselves. Its not terrible and can see the outgoing kids having a good time. But cater to all, make it not challenging perse but interesting! So something is actually learnt and they don't only come back wanting more but find the class genuinely interesting. Make it fun, complex enough that they can still understand of coutse but mostly lose the acting/ masking. Divise a lesson that promotes equality and genuine honesty, true to everyone's self. This is my experience of school only mine was worse. Only have 1 several minute video to go off here but it does remind me of how phoney everyone was and how no one could say if anything actually truly bad was going on in their lives. Just all be the same, have fun like them but don't fake it! Kids can be really intelligent and more than a few will be put off by this teaching style. It's not bad its just flawed and could be so much more inclusive and better.
I think I would be needing a lot of vitamin C if I will pursue ESL or EFL teaching.
He tries too hard 😊
Fooling around and having mess in the class. No, thanks.
What would you follow this up with?
📚🥺 In the realm of education, there exists a teacher whose sighs could rival the wind's mournful wail. Each lesson is a symphony of somber monologues, where even quadratic equations seem to long for a happier existence. As the clock ticks, so does the weight of their desolate demeanor, a reminder that not all heroes wear capes - some wear the heavy cloak of perpetual sorrow. 🕰😔
Refreshing to find a teacher that doesn't in duck tree Nate with LbKgs++ ideology.
Excellent videos thanks, but how do I apply this to a class of 50 :l
The video was very helpful. Thank you !
They cannot read that small writing.
Inspiring 💐💐💐
TEFL is used by the military to target and channel certain people into moving and living abroad. Usually, this is because they are considered a threat to the establishment, this is likely to be because of their 'alpha' resonance, that has been identified at an early age.
有个女孩是人大附小的,厉害

Super energetic and joyful teaching skills,
You're a good teacher. Love from India.🌻🤩
I like how the Chinese kids all have western names!!!!1
That's something teachers in China often do, and chinese kids will pick the strangest names if you let them. There are arguments for and against it, though personally, I have always tried to learn my students' native names no matter how difficult they are. Now that I teach in Russia, it's so easy... they are usually Alexander or Anastasia XD
@@AlexWallsELT I’ve noticed a lot of Asian countries do that. In Thailand and Cambodia you’ll run into guys named “Dave” or “Brad” lol
Native speaker in China as teacher. That's rare lol )) He us awesome. Charismatic and skillful
Wow thank u I need this more as iam in Quarantine n hoping to get a teaching job soon
While it might be fun to cartoon your students, in my experience I discovered some students don’t take well in being made fun of.
You have to learn how your students are likely to respond to things. I like to have banter with my teen and adult students, but you have to know where the line is. It seems clear to me that he's not meeting these kids for the first time so he knows something about their character.
